Find a metal box, like an ammo box. Drill and Saw a slot into it so that you can enter money through. Next get a metal chain and wrap the chain around the box and put a combination padlock on the chain so that you cannot open the Ammo box because of the combination lock. Do not cheat by looking at the combination to unlock the pad lock but instead to make this work. Put in 1 dollar for Ten tries of putting a guess forth to open the combination lock. By the time you figure out the code for the pad lock and open the lock and remove the chain, you can then open the ammo box and count what you saved. For a pad lock that goes from 1 to 39 and has 3 numbers to open the pad lock, that would be a max of $5931.90 worth of dollars in the box by the time you open the pad lock provided if you give 10 tries from one dollar. If you put in one quarter for each try at the combination lock By the time you run through all the possible numbers you would have $2372.76 from quarters only.
That’s even better! Automatic savings. We’re only doing $125 every time my husband gets paid right now. $25 to cushion and $100 to an insurance sinking fund :)
