Im all ready solo single mum so sitting upside down seems impossible to get time. However , I have tried artificial insemination with donar twice. Just use a tampon sat down for hour and half before taking it out to go toilet. Will that work at all? X
Hi Lucy. Being a busy mum does make it difficult. Using a tampon would not be a good idea. Rather use a soft disc, they can remain in for up to 12 hours and you can carry on with your day after insemination.
No you don't need it. It can make a difference though. If you don't use it just make sure you lay down and keep your legs up for a good amount of time :)
Question does the female need to ejaculate, orgasm before sperm is inserted. Also what is that cup used for do we need it. How man😮times did you guys try this before you had baby ? Sorry for all the questions this is my first time my partner and I are trying
No problem at all. Definitely not before but you can after, if you do orgasm after, wait till after you have had your hips elevated up for the desired time. It's not necessary for the female to ejaculate before the sperm is inserted up inside her vagina, some women do and some women do not. Some people believe there can be a benefit to the female having orgasms, but not until after the sperm has been released. I wish I could say a magic number.....like only once or twice for this method to work for everyone, but there is no set number as each person is different. To help maximize the success rate, spend a couple of months tracking your monthly cycle and when you start ovulating each month. If you need help, a doctor can help with a professional ovulation detector. Of course, once you know the days when you are ovulating, right before and early during your ovulation is the best time to insert the sperm into your vagina, as sperm can live 3 to 5 days inside of your body before your ovulation cycle begins.

Please can I keep the sperm how many days or hours before using it? I can keep it from morning to afternoon before using?
Unfortunately sperm only survives up to 1 hour outside the body. It needs to be kept at body temperature during this time.
