In the United States, mineral rights can be sold or conveyed separately from property rights. As a result, owning a piece of land does not necessarily mean you also own the rights to the minerals beneath it. If you didn't know this, you're not alone. Many property owners do not understand mineral rights.
More double-speak used by Governments to deprive Land Owners from what is Rightfully theirs. These "governments" need to be retooled to be less offensive to Common Sense and Decency.
Yep! I know and work for a man who owns the rights to minerals on several thousands of acres in Texas and home owners are not happy when we show up and they realize that there's nothing they can do about it!😢
@mindofmatter071 That’s not necessarily the case. There are actions that can be taken. The homeowner owns the surface rights, no minerals can be extracted without an agreement. If this were to happen to me, you would be paying me a royalty on every barrel extracted from my property in perpetuity. I would also charge substantial fees for damage compensation, easement and right-of-way access, and water rights required for fracking. Y’all would be paying a hefty price to access those minerals.
😂😂yeah I doubt it if u did that to the wrong person u and your boss would end up in a room somewhere watching your family members be ate by rats and have there teeth pulled out when u do dark stuff and get away with it it always catches up with u eventually unless you sold your soul

Oil and gas wells and refineries emit toxic pollutants like carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide, ozone, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air. These pollutants can cause respiratory problems, like asthma, and increase the risk of heart disease and lung cancer. Some people who live near oil and gas activity also report headaches, eye irritation, and nausea.
