I think Mrs. Brittany did an awesome job! I want to extend a heartfelt thank you. I am a Desert Shield/Storm veteran suffering with fibromyalgia. This nasty cold snap has taken me down and it's depressing. Your videos always bring a smile to my face and brighten my day. You two have such great chemistry. Hopefully the coldest weather is behind us, and I can get back to the forge and put out some videos for my own channel (not under my name, so no shameless plugs here). Y'all keep doing what you do! I'll keep watching.
That a girl Britt, you're awesome. Tyler, you are a good teacher, just as long as you are not prepping her for hunting season. We'll know if we see a Britt do a job by herself. You are great to watch.
I started changing oil when I was 12 or 13 years old. I did warm up engine first. The next step was to remove the filter and filler cap. By this time the oil has drained to the bottom and when the plug is removed the oil drains much faster. I finally figured out why Miss Brittany has such a hard time clamping the pallet wood. SHE'S SHORT ON ONE END! Have fun and stay safe!
Regular maintenance is is very necessary to maintain peak performance of the equipment...and the "bottom line" of running a business. Brit did a great job with a little bit of Tyler's coaching, She will be fine if /when something comes up and She need to do it. Good video you Two!
A good thing to do is to pull the dipstick when you drain the oil as a reminder to fill it before starting just in case you get distracted during the change.
I remember years ago my brother was changing oil in his car and when started pouring in the new oil when i saw that he forgot to put the drain plug back in. Luckily the drain pan was still under the motor but it made a big hassle having to buy two more quarts. Excellent job Britney now that you know how to do this job you dont need Tyler. Thank you for sharing.👍
Tyler and Brittany, I follow a draft horse logger who has a saw mill. Three days ago he was out in the woods working. In moving a log it got hung on a cut down.Long story short. The cut down sprung up and he now has broken scapula. Major down time ahead😢
Great job Brittany love you sure are a great help to your husband Tyler, I really love watching your videos and to see how you and your family are doing, cheers for now lots of love Peter xxxxxxxx
You guys have a great little operation and homestead going there . I love the horses to. They look awesome pulling yalls new cart that yall built 👍 Brittany always does a fantastic job as well 😊
Great job Brittany! That was cool with the cross training because you never know when you might have to do that. It was a nice spin on life at the Wallace Farm and Sawmill.
Miss Britt did an excellent job! And yes get her a step stool! One question about your dust setup. Will your bottom hose wear a hole in it quickly dragging on the ground??
10:26 Maybe you could add a vacuum slot near the ground onto your wall that you can push your excess saw dust into, kind of like you would see in a house that has a built in system.
Use some deicer windshield washer fluid in your water jug, that will cut down on your saw dust from freezing to the mill & your saw dust collection system.
I stopped at three minutes in to ask a question I meant to ask many many times ago.... why are you placing the ratchet clip tool on top of pallets when it works on the side and easier to reach? I had several mills and never ever did it this way unless the bundle was in a frame that required it to be that way only
Just subscribed and I’m catching up on your videos. Great to see what you’re up to in Mississippi! I’m watching from COLD Canada, about 2 hours north of Toronto. I have 3 feet of snow here! Very interesting videos! Thanks!
Excellent job Britt. Tyler did you ever think about putting a long loose spring on the sawdust hose to keep it off the ground and prevent it from wearing out prematurely ??
Miss Brittany , You done a fine job on the sawmill. i know the bigger the log the more trouble . I got my wood . We split with an axe and a maul . The I got a splltter . I don't like lifting More than 24 in. Piece . My big saw has 30 in bar . Did not like Drooping one that big . Then yo got to carry the rounds to the truck . SEEYA
Wood miser must have different angled sawdust outlets. Or cut it and blow straight out or turned up Then your hose can be shortened and not drag on the ground!!!!
Mrs Brittany did it very well! By the way ...my lt40 could need a bit of maintanance too ... but no need to change the oil, coz its electric. How often do you change the belt under the sawblade? And ... bladeguides - how long will it take till the bearings gets looser and need to get replaced?
I was told to warm the engine up before changing oil and the oil does drain out faster. But my thinking is the oil has drained to the bottom of the oil pan already so why start the engine and warm it up then wait for the oil to drain to the bottom of the oil pan when it was already there before you started it. Yes it will drain faster when warm,I would drain the oil the night before when i was done and let drain overnight pull the key and put in yoyur pocket
Miss Britt always does good, she is a keeper.
Two thumbs up 👍👍for Miss Brittney's sawmill maintenance and Tyler's tutelage!
Brittany gets an A+

I have a LT 35 when I oil the chains and track i like to use a small paintbrush. I keep the oil in a plastic bottle.
You guys have a great little operation and homestead going there . I love the horses to. They look awesome pulling yalls new cart that yall built 👍 Brittany always does a fantastic job as well 😊
She did excellent !! Write date and hrs. On wall beside window of quick reference !!
Great job Brittany! That was cool with the cross training because you never know when you might have to do that. It was a nice spin on life at the Wallace Farm and Sawmill.
Great job Britt!
Miss Britt did an excellent job! And yes get her a step stool! One question about your dust setup. Will your bottom hose wear a hole in it quickly dragging on the ground??

Great job
Brittany Rocks!!! Also, your new intro to each video looks great...
Very good job Ms. Britt. Best wishes and blessings.
Keep an eye on the inner air filter. Mine deteriorated with 40 hrs on it, brand new to
What do you do with your pallet cut offs. ✌️🇨🇦

Job well done
Nice work.
Good job Mrs Pretty
Great job Brittany!
Excellent job Britt. Tyler did you ever think about putting a long loose spring on the sawdust hose to keep it off the ground and prevent it from wearing out prematurely ??
The 2 cheapest mechanic bills you will ever pay for is a quart of oil & a tube of grease if you use them, Stay Safe
I like your new intro
All ways good to know how to do it yourself
There should be no gap between your pallet wood on the trailer. But each lift tight!!
Miss Brittany , You done a fine job on the sawmill. i know the bigger the log the more trouble . I got my wood . We split with an axe and a maul . The I got a splltter . This was a good video…… but Britt changing oil on your truck is still must watch television!!
I would like to see each of you uncoil and coil band saw blades.
Wood miser must have different angled sawdust outlets. Or cut it and blow straight out or turned up Then your hose can be shortened and not drag on the ground!!!!

Crimp the band on the side or closer to the edge so Miss Britt doesn't have to reach.
Tyler you know us guys would rather see Brittany changing the oil than you, no offense!😂 Enjoy all y'all 's video's!
Is your new sawmill everything you hoped for.
And more!
What do you do with the offcuts from the pallet boards? What happens to the scrap cuts from the log? Do you heat wilth wood?
Nice job Mis Brittany. Question. What’s the biggest log have ya saw on the circular saw ?
Open oil cap when taking out oil
I was told to warm the engine up before changing oil and the oil does drain out faster.
