We never look at the video later, it just stays locked away in our memory cards never to surface again.. and we missed the opportunity to just be there in the moment because we just HAD to capture it. But quite like JR said, in this day and age, events usually take care of that in the optimal way so you can be there and be present. Obviously everyone can do whatever they want with their phones, it’s not up to me or anyone else! It’s just interesting to see how we’ve evolved from having no option but to be present in an event such as this which once upon a time would have been the state of the art technology display, and nowadays we’re so quick to reach for our state of the art phones to capture it. I just find it interesting that our thoughts today in these moments usually relate to the future as in “I must film this so that I can show my people later!” Instead of the present time we were caused to embrace when we did not have these options of time travel. My comment was not mean to be a diss or cause offence. Just an observation at humans and our tendencies today to think outside the box a lot with regards to not simply being present, but attempting to split the present into past and future also. I’m marvelling, I’m not hating. I’m fascinated by it 💥👌
