I will be on Tokyo this Friday as well, and got the same setup like yours -R6+50L1.2. Sooo excited! edit: just noticed you have R5 :D but still close. Also planning to get 15-35 used from mapcamera
Enjoy your time in Tokyo!!! I just got back home so i miss it already 😂 nice setup too 👌 picking up used gear in Tokyo is always great. I picked up the 85mm f/2
Honestly just depends what you're trying to do - I used an ND filter in part of this because I was playing with slower shutter speeds, needed on a bright sunny day to do this. Usually I use the ND more just for video. Otherwise I mostly only use a Mist Filter for my photos - so that's my pick. Again not necessary but I like the effect they create.
@@kuanishere I'm mostly using 1/4. But it can definitely be a bit much if pointing it at more direct light sources - like at night! Love it during general daylight conditions though. 1/8 prefer at night.
Snow street photography tips next

3:49 Hi, can I ask where did you get this hot shoe cover. it look like would be very useful when it rains.
The R5 MkII actually has one, so this one just comes with the cam!

Suas fotos são incrivelmente bonitas.
Thanks so much 🙏
Are filters really even necessary? And if you had to choose just one what would it be?

@ welcome! And thanks so much ✌🏼
@@TKNORTHhey Tk! don’t mind me asking, what stop is your mist filter? i’m planning to get one, but unsure if 1/4 will be too much for my preference

First Step: Go to Japan
😆
😂😂 definitely a good place to practice! But anywhere that inspires you to pick up the camera and has a bit going on.. can't go wrong!
