- Moody 376 sailboat. A short tour below and aloft for your information.
We are looking for a suitable sailboat for cruising between Holland and England in the first place, but this one is to low downstairs. We found out that for us a good living abourd boat is 42 to 44 feet. Because we will live in it for 3 to 6 months a year, we do like a more spacious saloon and sleeping space. What's important too: draft only up to 1,7 metres.
The next tour is about a Moody 42 CC. we do like that sailboat very much. Stay tuned.

Brilliant Yachts my late Grandfather had one in the 1990s in West coast of Scotland we had many great holidays and times out sailing very comfortable and great to live on for weeks at a time ..
this tour is as in formative as a blank sheet of paper!!
For offshore work, we prefer the full skeg with protected rudder.
Suitable height inside and bed length also an issue.

I lived and sailed a Moody 376 for 2 years. She is comfortable but not that comfortable for big people, I agree. But still an amazing and strong boat for ocean crossing
6'2" man complains he can't stand straight in the aft cabin 37 foot boat, does he want to sail this boat, how high does he want the coach roof, how long does he want to stand pressing his head against the ceiling. I am same height and own 70's cruiser racer Ohlson 35 with 5'10" in saloon and 5'8" in forecabin, I sleep in forecabin and dip my head in saloon, problem??
Nordic men are easily 6'6'' or more - strongly built. You argue as if your size is very manly, but it is not. You are the size of a nordic girl and it seems as if you cannot even fathom how life in a real man's body feels like. Yes, I believe you have no problem, but real men have one. I would not buy any boat made for dwarfs. If you understand no room as cosy or perfect that's great, but of no importance. The headroom is the most important info I need, so for me(n) this boat is a huge NO.
