I loved AC1 and 2 on the Xbox360. By the time Origins and Odyssey came out, I was too busy to get the chance to play them. Now as a working dad with a Steam Deck, I'm so pumped to get to play this new one that will (hopefully) give me some nostalgia for the originals. I'm all for some shorter and more stealth based gameplay, vs massive open world action. Thanks for the preview.
The combat had to be downgraded to highlight the importance of assassination. Think about Hitman. Agent 47 is very deadly with his weapons, however, he dies also very easy. That fact discourage people to just shoot everything that is in their way. It is like cooking. To many spices at once make none stand out and the dish just not good.
Nice to go back to the basics and fundamentals in a "complete" game. But that price.. wish it was more from a simpler time. lol.. Less Features.. Less Price.
for a big budget next gen Ubisoft I'm surprised the visuals are - nice but not particularly stunning. I would have thought a smaller map would mean a more fidelity / polish
He has a point unity parkour was a refined original style movement. If I had to guess probably because unity’s city was a 1:1 scale and this city isn’t.
That's probably the least of the liberties the series takes with the real-life history of the Assassins, whose actual existence and role Ubisoft's writers seem to have discarded entirely since the first couple games.
Finally the game series continues. Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla were not real Assassins Creed games in my opinion. From quiet and stealthy, the series became loud and obvious, more like action hack and slay open world, mainstream service Games. What I also like about Mirage is, that the character can't engage several enemies at once as in the first games. The jumping and climbing, on the other hand, I don't find as well done, as it is based on the Valhalla engine and doesn't seem to be suitable for the game.
Combat in the original games was awesome cause it actually made you feel like a bad ass movie hero deadly assassin. I loved it.
Yea thats where I disagreed with her. It doesn't need to be complex. Give a little challenge but make me look cool.

Did they forget the password to the channel?
This is the comment I was looking for. They probably did 😂

Are we playing as the bad guy from the last game in Mirage?
Bad guy is a stretch considering the story of AC, but plot related yes.

It really doesn't. Still the same cardboard parkour; why didn't they just refine and implement Unity's parkour?
Or just don't buy it?
Exactly 😊

@@raf686 Lol, imagine buying ubi games
@@Kronos0999 lol imagine caring what others buy. 🤣
still set in a period before the Order of Assassins (who appeared in the 11th century) - perhaps should be called Creed of the 'Hidden Ones'

It's semantics, what does it matter
I've been to Alamut and it's anything but how it looks in game. can't complain more because it's in Iran and they probably didn't wanna go there
Where is your Space Hulk board game video review??!??!?!?!?!!??!?!?!
I miss Liam :(

You could call them brawlers creed (even if origins was the least rpg one)
Alamut is not Masyaf from AC1
One thing imma say about the old games is that it was way too easy. Esp the combat
I don't like 2923 because that year was disappointed
I literally hate the bird mechanic
Why are the visuals soooo muddy! The older games not only AC looked way more crisp games these days are so damn muddy to look at
eh I prefer the open world RPG AC
I have lost interest on AC games, I will pick it up when on sale.
Hi
Alamut is not Masyaf
This looks exactly the same down to the dumb AI
Old assassin's creed games 😂😂😂😂😂
Assassin's of Mordor
It’s just Valhalla lol. Ppl are really trying to sell this “ back to the roots” “ original ac” it’s just not hitting that.

Worried about the parkour animations. Doesn't look great
This looks like a carbon copy of early Assassin Creed games, any of them as they were all carbon copies of each other. Looks a bit dull to me.
