EMILY, I caught this after viewing your vids on your boat (Congrats on that, BTW) and now I'm planning on using these vids to show my daughter what girls can REALLY do! It's an uphill battle, as we live in Thailand (although I'm a native Pittsburgher) and so I must work against the cultural bias that the Thais have concerning women doing any type of mechanical or technical work. Luckily for my daughter, I'm good with tools and have a large amount of tech training in my background, as well as having an Education degree and years of experience at teaching/training. I'm hoping that seeing you will help her to get interested in doing more of the hands-on stuff that Thai culture eschews for its ladies. Keep up the great vids!
Being an old soldier, I'm usually looking for ideas how to fix up my 18 foot Floyd Bosarge skiff I acquired a couple of years ago. Its usable but I sure would love to make major upgrades to give her that beautiful senior citizen look. She's over 20 years old. However, its such a joy to watch a decent family work together. You leave me warm and fuzzy with every episode. Keep up the great work. The creator has his Angel's watching over you.
Those black flares & wheels look so so good 😎 To put the icing on the cake now all you guys need is a black pre-runner style front bumper & matching rear swing - out rear bumper . 2 KC highlites on front pre-runner bumper . Black Rock sliders . This is one sweet Bronco ...love what you have done to her already 😎
The Bronco is looking good. My 16 year old daughter just bought herself a 87 square body Chevy truck. Ms Emily I have shown my daughter that just because she's a girl doesn't mean she can't do the work on her own truck. You young lady help out dad's like me with your channel. Pretty girl working on everything, that's what these gals out here need to see. Y'all keep up the good work and God bless.
Our favorite real couple returns. Have a subscriber overhauling 3-4 day paint makeover for da Bronc. There would be many volunteers. Everyone loves old Broncs. My sista had a 1976 with the half cab.
You guys ROCK!! I absolutely love the Bronco and don't even get me started on the F450! Yes, blue blood in my veins. The one thing that keeps me coming back to your videos is your absolutely infectious smile and the fact that you're seriously into getting your hands dirty.... Beautiful shop too, I might add. I'm so jealous.... 🕶️
Mark Andrew You are Exactly right. It is not a ground-up resto, it is a Fix up off road tool of fun & exploration. It Looks Great as it is.... Like Emily !!
B roll of the old fenders and wheels vs. new stuff after the paint had been buffed up.... All I could think of was the "Men in Black II" scene of... "Old bustedness.... New Hotness... Old N Busted, New Hotness.." Bronco looks great and the rim/tire/fender flare combo absolutely looks killer!
This brings me back to the days of when I would rotate the tires on my 89 Bronco XLT. Had 15x10 American Racing wheels with 39.5x13.50 Super Swamper Iroks. It was a PITA to do. So. Much. Weight!!!
The trick to getting those "self tappings" screws in, nice and easy is, use a fresh, smaller drill bit and make pilot holes 1st. Additionally, once the flare installation site is chosen and the flare hanging with tape, put a tape line alone the edge of the flare, on the paint to protect the paint. This tape can be doubled up too. That "willet strip" is also called gimp strip, just saying. The method you chose to install it was perfect; first install the fenders, with screws not all the way in. Then put the willet in place and make a then pilot hole in the willet through the flare, so that nothing jumps around while adding the fastener. Leave the screws out a bit to have room to work (not setting the screws in all the way yet). Once the strip is on for that entire flare, then snug up all the fasteners. This is a great video! Please keep making them ..)
Came across your channel due to the Holley Sniper on the bronco. I just out one on my 85 crew cab with a 454. Started watching your vids. You guys rock! Great content and amazing projects. Keep the great work you two! I am a subscriber now!
Just discovered your channel. Loving all the content and trying to binge the shows. Great to see such a knowledgeable couple who works together well. Keep the content flowing. Emily I live your enthusiasm.
Love the new look! That bar in the front needs to be black to carry the theme. Always learning is awesome and a great attitude to have. I apply that motorcycle riding. Always be a student! Always something to learn and nobody knows it all. New techniques and better ways to do things is always a good thing.
I ditched the self tappers and bought black aluminum pop rivets for the one i did, much better look and dont have to worry about screws coming loose getting in somebody elses tires or just looking janky. Love the vids and your drive.
This is my second time watching you guys and I am truly impressed with your shop. Very nice oh and I absolutely agree those flares, rims and tires oh and the polish made that truck just drop dead old school sick. Nice vision. I like the 35s over 33s because of the ride so that little truck should get up and boogie woogie zoom in any kind of mud you want to sling its way. Again great work you guys are awesome and thanks for sharing. We love y'all in Saluda NC. Looking forward to the next job
You should God easy to million subscribers on this channel I watch a lot of RUclips this is not a RUclips channel this is like movie makers it's so are entertaining I don't feel like for one secon it's boring or I enjoy every minute watching The way you film the way you talk just like a movie watching I don't want to end up Really thank you

Yeah I try to keep a mindset when I’m doing hardwood flooring, try not to give up, unless I’m setting old top floor nails back into the joice because I do not have a steady hand
Tire Tech Tip: If you have Go Jacks or similar rolling wheel jacks they make a great tool for lining up and installing really big and heavy wheels when in the shop. Just jack up the new wheel to match the height of the vehicle and roll it on.
I love this Bronco. Amazing transformation with the wheels and tires , really cool flares and much needed polish job, Looks awesome. I could watch Emily wrestle with them big tires all day, (lol). Can't wait to see ya'll hit the trails and having fun with it. Oh, and by the way Emily, you are one Cute Lady.
Quick tip for putting wheels on, sit on a milk crate or similar, chick the wheel with your feet and pick it up with your toes... Might sound ridiculous but it works!
WOW!! Great freaking content!!! A+++!!! Betty looks killer!! You two have the best dang channel on youtube as far as I am concerned! I watch a lot of videos.. 20 minutes and 46 seconds of pure awesomeness ain't easy to do!
A tip for getting large tires on is to put a pry bar down and roll the tire onto the pry bar, you can then use the leverage of the pry bar to easily raise and position the tire with your other hand on the top of the tire to stabilize it. ::EDIT:: i guess i should have kept watching the video, because 30 seconds later you mention it almost word for word. lol
Love this bronco...im starting to work on a 91 bronco...lol..she needs tons of love to...to many years folks not caring just throw it together and drive lol
Emily I'm real impressed you almost picked up that tire/wheel, has to real heavy. I have 35" Toyo tires with 20" centerline wheels that weigh 125 lbs. each. I have to roll them up on steel bar to lift them up to mount. So far I've only had one flat and it was at home. I just aired it up and drove 2 miles to nearest Discount Tire and got it fixed.
I would have painted the drums black before putting the wheels on. I also cringed thinking you would scrape back on the beer taps as you stood up. It looks great so far!
Go watch the before video with 33s it was so low geared it probably couldn't hit 65 without screaming and it would just crawl up hills barely in the throttle of a wore out 302
Just a suggestion if you ever put flares like that on again ,tape the whole lip and use a ink pen to lay out your holes after using a protractor to give you a depth guide line
I dont know how I came to be watching this but I'm transfixed, Emily you have the most infectious smile, your gorgeous and your accent is wonderful. I will definitely be watching from now on ( after I catch up on the rest).
@@flyingsparksgarage Here's an example. I searched for plastic caps for screws fender flare :) pcbolts.com/product/516-button-head-fender-flare-screw-set/
Just a thought, I would have used a spring loaded center punch to mark the holes for the screws. Flares turned out great though. Any plans to upgrade the Bronco from front drum brakes to disc brakes?
Looking great Emily! She has an awesome stance now. You need to replace those aweful drum brakes up front with a disk conversion otherwise you'll be all over the road and not get her stopped in time. Been there done that on a 75...experience talking. Those EBs have a mind of their own on the roads but if you get a good set of disks and rally good caster then it starts behaving. Mine rode like a new one. I think i was able to get about 2 degrees of negetaive caster. Speaking of new...did you see the new Bronco that Ford just released to see?

The paint and dents make it perfect. If an off-road vehicle doesn't have a few "flaws" you bought the wrong type of car.

Love the older set of wheels way better. Cool Bronco.
Great work on the Bronco Emily, looks awesome. I hope you have better luck with the X3s than I did on my Power Wagon.
Thanks!! We run the X3s on our Silverado and love them!
Love the Bronco.
I had one maybe 20 years ago.
Looking great with those tires.

You are weak. Eat Meat ,become a carnivore .
Up grade to disc brakes, I had problems with my drum brakes when I crossed streams.
I love your Keezer work bench!
I developed that same method for installing semi wheels when I was working on them. Still use it on heavy pickup wheels at the dealership I work at.
The Bronco looks fab
I would have painted the drums black before putting the wheels on.
I also cringed thinking you would scrape back on the beer taps as you stood up.
It looks great so far!
You guys should come up to the Bronco Takeover when you get it “done”.
You did a very good job Emily , looks nice. Good video.
Looks great, wheels look great, paint polish up well, some times you can’t afford to do everything so polish what she’s got .
Your bronco now looks exactly like mine. 🐎
Bronco is looks badass!!! Rims and tires 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Great job on the fender flares!!!
Love the new wheels and flares! Do you guys plan on changing the gearing at all to turn the bigger tires easier or are you worried about it?
Go watch the before video with 33s it was so low geared it probably couldn't hit 65 without screaming and it would just crawl up hills barely in the throttle of a wore out 302
Looks good top job. Where the safety glasses prescription. There a good set.👍😉👍💅

Almost ready to visit the NEW Bronco that just came out. Yahoo!!!
Me personally, I would use stainless screws and not paint them or the flairs. Makes the red stand out better. Love the projects you guys do
Happy Mother’s Day Everyone 👍🤗👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏
Totally agree with the whole wheel/tyre thing making the look of a build.

Super cool love the flares! One of my favorite year Broncos. I had a 86 full size. It had what the called the Bull Nose.
Love watching her. Priceless. First saw her when they bought the big Bayliner for $5G’s.
You can buy black plastic caps to pop over the heads of the screws, flares like that usually come with the caps.
