I had the original thundertank but wow the size of this one blows it out the water lol
I love my Thundertank. I even bought a second Panthro to keep in the tank ( Super7) as it has the additional tools. I have the Mattel version as well, displayed with the rest of the Thundercats on my shelf.
I’m definitely interested in this and I think it’s cool that Super7 is doing this since it’s the only current line for Thunder Cats they own the market and they are doing right for the fans.
Love mine. For me at the end of the day I don’t care if it doesn’t do anything. It’s just a display piece

The ThunderCats headquarters would be like $ 600.00 or possibly more depending what they putting in it, like if they made the terror drone from G.I. joe that would atleast cost like $ 900.00 big ones

That is quite something. That Galactus figure is huge too. Even though the prices are a little on the high side, that's not the main issue. I'd want to have a lot more space, not just for fitting the tank in but having lots of space around it that can be utilised. At the moment, I have room for play and I'd want the same even after adding this, but it wouldn't leave much when you add it to everything else. It's a cool piece for sure. I always used to get the LJN Thundertank out when playing with the LJN toys and luckily, I still have those. That toyline is still very nostalgic for me so it's a good job mine aged well. Then again, some people have had theirs since 1985. I was getting them in 1992 when they were still on UK shelves in Woolworths. I wasn't born until 1988.
@Super1866 and I still have my original LJN Thundercats and Thundertank and I recently scored the orginal Tygra "young face" version and Cheetara both mint on card and sealed, YES! Both come with Wily Kit and Kat non articulated versions LOL! 🤗🙏👍👏
@@SuperMarioBrosIII They tend to be quite pricey when they are mint on card but it would no doubt add to the nostalgia.

In 30 years from now will there be many people left who remember and know who the Thundercats were? To future generations it will just be a toy? I can't see resale value of this going too high in future. Looks amazing though.

The original Thunder Tank was fun for it's time, but just too small IMHO. It's nice to get a legit scaled to size Thunder Tank where the whole party can travel. The "plexiglass" windshield helps break up the lines on the vehicle so it doesn't look so big and blocky.
Sideshow had the best plan it was 450 with 50 a month split pay and free shipping if it you pre-ordered the 1st month. Plus you could use their point system so I got 45 off also
Hope they mat the Cats lair I will be really happy with that I had the old one when I was a kid and it broken quickly after a few plays it was cheap material back in 1980s they use
This is awesome as a whole,but because i don't have allot of Room i would love to see make something like megablocks! You know small figures with easier to fit somewhere vehicle or cats lair! 😉

There is a PAX wardrobe shelf that u can get that is just a shell like a billy and then u buy your shelves. It is up to 22 inches deep and 37 inches wide.

Man, Super 7 is So expensive with things. waited and Got things on Sale, especially about 50% off. so got Thundercats set Other than Snarf or this until today..375 on Amazon now. Ughhh. Was planning on waiting to see if it hit 300 bucks or less which is what it should be but did get it. And my most Stupid move of All in my collection is that Cat's Lair. But they Didn't make many of them because of the price/short ordering Window So might fair well in the future value wise? Otherwise it'll will be the Biggest/Centerpiece of the whole Toy collection.

From what I’ve seen, the treads don’t move well, and the figures don’t really sit on the seats (they kind of lean/crouch) or fit on the cannon. I’ve been torn on buying this, and I feel like I’m glad I didn’t.
I was also concerned with QC, as Super7 have had tons of QC issues with this line.
I don't think Super 7 we'll give us a Cat's Layer because it would tower over the Thundertank and most likely cost well over a thousand. Remember seeing the thundertank come out of Cat's Layers paws LOL!🐾To the point where we thought Super 7 was being generious for pricing the Thundertank for $400/$500. Maybe Mumm-ras Tomb? Now that would be awesome! Super 7 could rather give us a diorama of the insides of Cat's Layer which would be somewhat cheaper?🧐😯🤔💵
They said the same thing about snake mountain and we did get it so you can never say never
But it is not that much detail and besides being (what 1/6 ? Is it 1/6 scale ? ) big there is nothing else like at least light or something like sounds .
It looks cheap and 650$ is too much for it . Hell 300$ is too much for it .
I really hope they don't release a Cats Lair. Look at how big that Tank is...imagine how LARGE the lair would have to be to be in line with the 7inch figures. You'd have to take out a Mortgage to afford it

this is a cool vehicle, however not something I personally would pick up. If I knew someone who was really into Thundercats, I might get this for them. Personally if I had a tank or tank like vehicle, I wouldn't be upset if the treads didn't move. It's a nice detail, but not something that is 100% necessary. I'm in the boat with Kyle, and if it made it cheaper to just make it plastic, I'd be all for it.

The people that work on things should know who's tank it is .a very expensive piece of plastic.cool but to high priced for regular working collectors that loved the cartoon.as long as people will pay big prices for toys they will just keep getting higher
