Here in Missouri, me and my family have a property that have multiple creeks so I’m used to catching; Crawfish (we call them crawdads), Bullheads, Minnows, Darters, Mudskippers, and Stone rollers. We find most of our big Crawfish under rocks.

The fish is a cichlid and the shrimps that have the bluishgreen mass under their tails are barried up, AKA with eggs. If you setup a 20gl tanks you can put some in it and you will breed all the shrimp you will need. But best is a 50gl tub minimum or larger. Catch a bunch and but them in it. Use the same kind of sponge filter that you have in the bait tank. Get some water plants and you will be set. Just seed it with around 50 to 100 shrimp. Java moss is one of the best plants to use.
