I’d say start off with the part 1 anime and continue on since everything is pretty true to the manga and if you can’t wait any longer for the next parts, you can switch to the part 6 manga and so on^^ Its a very fun anime/manga and I highly recommend, it’s most likely my 2nd fav! ☺️
I recently found your channel and have been binging trough a lot of them. Really enjoyable and have given me a lot of inspiration for how to decorate my own study. Love enamel pins and art prints so your canvas boards were like a little lightbulb that lit up! 😊💡 Have been struggling for a while to find a good way to display them. Also a little manga tip of mine, Witch Hat Atelier. A magical story with one of the most wonderful art styles I’ve seen. Highly recommend! Keep up the good work!

This quarantine has just been a cycle of me finding hobbies/addictions to ruin my wallet. First it was coffee, then it was keyboards, then it was vinyl collecting, then it was figure collecting, and now I'm doing all 4 at the same time... I cannot afford this but I am happy regardless

Ohh you started anime in HK and that’s how I started as well when I went on a family vacation to HK when I was young! I got into Sailormoon, Dragon Ball, doraemon, etc! I haven’t watched anime since HS but due to covid I started again. You inspire me a lot hehe can’t wait for more videos!

I haven’t read the manga but I would still suggest starting with it for the first 3 parts as I feel that those parts tend to drag a bit in the anime (especially part 3) and you might be able to get through them quicker in manga format. Then, For part 4 and 5 watch the anime, they are soooo good. Part 4 is my favorite and I’m currently watching part 5 and the animation just seems to keep getting better and better.
I started watching jojo like 3 months ago and it's in my opinion a must watch, when I first heard about it I didn't wanna watch until my friend kept pushing me too, and I just love it now, I haven't read the manga but it's pretty popular so I definitely would if your thinking about reading it.

Just saw your video and as a person who is not a frequent anime watcher, most of all those anime shows that you listed are imo fantastic taste! I think Psycho-pass seems underrated but the concept is just incredible, especially how relevant it could be in today’s events.
I think the best way to get into JoJo is watching the anime. It's a really good adaptation with all the plots from the manga, no fillers, very good voice acting, animation and some elements that the manga obviously lacks (especially the dramatic color changes and soundtrack). I like the manga a lot, but parts 1 to the beginning or part 4 have that kind of outdated 80s shounen style. After you finish the 5 parts that where animated so far you will have a better time starting the manga from part 6 onward.
Have you tried the board game 'Betrayal at house on the hill'? We seem to have a lot in common & this is my fav board game so I thought I'd recommend it to you!

I've gone though the on call experience and being up at 3am isn't the most fun, but we got a day holiday in return for doing a release day and other benefits for it so it was never as bad. Also love that you used the poop emoji for JavaScript/TypeScript/React haha!! Very fitting. I miss Java already now my company is pushing for TypeScript with AWS lambdas instead.
I love your videos! Some advice for Jojos: Jojos is not for everyone and fans understand that so take it at your own pace, part one and two are a bit slow but they arent as long as parts 3,4 and 5. Once you hit part 3 is where the pace starts to pick up! Have fun with Jojos it's an awesome series!
I dont often comment on YT , but wanted to say, great vid, I only have a few figures, mainly focused on one author, but your channel is SO relatable I enjoy watching you. You have a lot of knowledge but don't act like an expert. Yet on the other side of that coin, your not so self effacing as to be annoying. (the following is a pure 'guy' remark so your SO may get aggravated) your combination of looks, accent and obvious intelligence is VERY attractive and your SO should consider themselves very lucky. Im much older but also work in IT on the other side, you write the apps, i support them. I thought that reveal was one of those 'relatable' moments that makes your channel so enjoyable. Your taste in manga (psychological horror, shitty death games) and games are so similar to mine, I'm so surprised. FONV and Bioshock are my favorites too. Also I feel like Phat company lately has been overcharging soo much for scales almost like they're testing the waters on how much they can get away with. It sucks cause some of them look so good like Semiramis and Hokusai.
Most people would say start with Jojo part # 1... though I started watching part 3 then watched part # 2 then # 1. It's because I found part # 3 to be relatable due to the memes but my favorite by far is part # 2. Hope you get to enjoy the anime and congrats for hitting 7K!

Just start watching Jojo part 1, the first part is kind of slow but its pretty short too. After part 1 it really starts to pick up the pace.

Definitely start off the Jojo anime with Phantom Blood. Things may drag a bit at first, but it’s only uphill from there.
