This is a really nice performance. Many years ago, Jeanette and her former husband Ike Turner sent me autographed pictures and unreleased songs that they did together. It was really kind of them to do. Jeanette is a really sweet lady and I am still thankful for that act of kindness.
Jeanette is really a phenomenal vocalist. I've had the pleasure of singing with her. Hopefully we will again in the very near futre. Susan "Tiana" Causey
Oh yes she has a good voice. I am about to look her up to see where she is now. I do remember when she married Ike, and wondered if she read the book "I Tina". I would be scared beyond belief to marry anyone with a track record like Ike Turner's. So sad that when you think of Ike you think about a good ass wipping.
Well I just read some info that Jeanette posted concerning her marriage to Ike. Question to Jeanette, didn't you read " I Tina". Jeanette states that Ike brought woman to their home to have sex with. It clearly states that in the book written my Tina that he did the same thing. And you stayed 12 years? Wild. I am glad you and Tina survived Ike. Keep sing Jeanette. I am a musician too. God Bless You!
They remained friends apparently, however, he was married to Audrey Madison-Turner at the time of his death. Audrey is a really cool lady. She and Jeanette are GREAT singers.
She has a good voice. Her voice doesn't fit that song. But there is a great recording called "I Don't Know Why I Love You" on Ike Turner's album "Without Love ... I Have Nothing" (1997).
It seems that meterman432110, and WestCoastSoulja, below, are just assholes. As for those who think Ms. Bazzell has a weak voice, or that she is "not a good singer at all," well, there's no accounting for taste. To my ears, though I'm not that crazy about this particular song, Jeannette Bazzell tears it up, and I would simply ask those who think she doesn't, "Can you do better?"
Wow. Why call people out their names because of her vibration to their ears sake. I've never heard her before, i don't know maybe I will find another song, but this particular song, does not sound good. Seems like it could have been written for someone else to sing. Goodness, everyone don't have to like everything. Some will some won't. Wonder if you've been called out your name for not liking something that someone else likes... Just wow dude.

Nice song nice voice to
Yup! Tina wore a smile through the pain too.
sadly, it seems that Jeanette fell victim as well to Ike.
Nice song and she can sing her ass off! I have seen her in person and she is a nice person. Don't compare her with anyone. Everyone is different.
Love this song

sadly they both went through the pain that Ike put them through. She has a great voice and it's really good.

No, her voice doesn't fit the song.
lovely lady
Where she has her own voice, it was a little obvious that Ike was still hung on Tina and trying to turn his after wives somewhat a bit into her.
Check this one out Jeanette on utube Ike & jeanette Turner 'bazzell turner Ihave her on my video stories but utube won't except a lonk on this page
Her voice got better with age and experience.

I like Irma Thomas original version better. 🤷🏻♀️
Weak. Nothing else to be able to say.
Overdoing it, is what I would say. You can't outdo Queen Irma.
