Why is it that whenever someone asks how you are these days, the knee-jerk response is "busy." Well, that's us, haha! As parents of two toddlers who are also running two businesses, we've got a lot on our plate. We still make sure to prioritize our health by eating nutritious plant-based meals. Side note: I've never drank coffee in my entire life but I do have my seasons with matcha. I love the health benefits and the focus it gives me, and I find it provides the most benefit when phased in and phased out! I like to be caffeine-free the majority of the time... Anybody else?

Yes Erin, I’m the same regarding caffeine! I buy an organic Decaf (Swiss water natural process) Japanese matcha on Amazon because the health benefits of green tea is far too amazing, from immune to cancer, to not be drinking daily!! 🍵 on occasion, I’ll do some organic Japanese tea bags like when we had a weekend getaway down south in Arkansas ⛰️🌲 which does have caffeine, but the difference is the l theanine balances it so there’s no jitters and not harsh on the body. So yah, I hear ya girl!! 😊 👍
Also, our go to pasta is chickpea! Same as Dusty though, hubs loves the organic brown rice best bc most similar to wheat.
I wish could get better options on tortillas because one son and I who were tested, showed either mild allergy or sensitivity to gluten and do feel best without it. We love Siete brand cassava tortillas but dang pricey ugh.
Also, hey, where did y’all get your colored (love those colors) surf board 🏄♂️ on your wall? God willing, we move down to the Gulf next year and want to decorate beachy/bright colors which do a lot now. Turquoise etc. but that’d be fun to have a surf board on the wall 😎 TIA.

you'll be surprised what you'll find once you'll look and ask for it. For instance the gluten-free organic pasta - chickpea, rice, millet, buckwheat - that I buy here in South Africa is made in and imported from Australia!!!

@@EatMoveRest I’m sorry… for the overlook… I just see all these other plant based influencers , and they focus a lot on rice and potatoes. I didn’t see that a lot on your channel, especially the potato part. Wasn’t sure if there was some reason, or your thoughts on why you do not use as much potatoes.
I did all of this and my gums recessed really bad!!! And my hair thinned, and MAJOR anxiety and hunger… only satisfied for about an hour. Bathroom issues…😶Plus All the supplements hurt my stomach.
I do keto carnivore and mentally great… but too much protein and fat…. Ouch ….stomach issues -😶I have a hard time digesting and soooo thirsty. Hard to keep electrolytes balanced, then if you do not… low energy.
Just trying to find the correct balance and curious how and why no one else has these issues except me. 😞

Does anyone have any advice for how to make a good cheesy tasting quesadilla vegan? I'm not a huge fan of most vegan cheeses, I find that they don't melt well, not to mention most vegan cheeses don't have any protein. I'm wondering if I can do something with tofu or hummus to make it taste more cheesy. I've heard of someone adding nutritional yeast to hummus and then making a quesadilla like that. I'd appreciate any one else's tips on this!
