Go on the Pennsylvania fish and boat commission website and they have a trout stream map with classifications of streams… dm me on instagram if you want exact spots
Awesome! Im brand new to fly fishing for trout, and have been out 5 times this new year with no sucess. I live in northern NJ pretty close to the gap and family has a cabin in the poconos. Any tips or recommendations of fishing in the winter, or any places i might find some sucess? I think catching a couple might help me in the learning process alot. Awesome videos, love watching them!
Hey man good to hear u got into Trout fly fishing! In the winter I suggest finding spring and tail water creeks as they are warmer and fish slower pools and you will catch fish… I can text u on instagram if u dm me and want a spot to fish
West Central PA freestone fly fisherman here. Nice winter brookies on attractor patterns. I've always wanted to find a beaver pond with native brookies locally here, but my local area sadly, has many streams posted by greedy people and to even explore new places would involve a lot of driving. Anyway, what decent underwater camera would you suggest without breaking the bank?
Yeah the beaver ponds are cool trout environments and they always hold nice brook trout. If u want a good cheaper underwater camera I would suggest a go pro they are reliable and work well underwater… I use a Olympus tough tg6 but it’s a little more expensive if ur not trying to spend too much
Thats good to know... Its an amazing stream and it definitely has potential for massive ones, I hope to one day be able to get my hands on a 15 inch native... The stream is amazing its cool to know other people who fish it
This looks exactly like a spot I adventured in crossfork as a kid. Nice job
Some really nice brook trout in that stream. Love catching natives in the winter. Lots of good little creeks in the Poconos.
100%... The pocono brookie streams are amazing in the winter

Bought a house in Pike County Pa. Where is a good place to start fly fishing in the Poconos ?
