Charlie Puth watched this clip of Ahyeon's covering his song Dangerously and was so impressed when the song went viral. He gifted Like that which he wrote in 2018 but never released officially to Baby Monster to release as a original Baby Monster song in April 2024 on their mini album.

Oh snap! Twice in one day! I'm so happy right now. It was at this moment I knew Rami was special. A couple of months ago Rami was on a show called Lee Mujin Service. You definitely should react to that. It runs about 30-40 minutes but it's worth every second. R & B is her lane for sure. I was smitten with Ahyeon's eyes from day one. I call her "doe eyes" because she has big, beautiful dark eyes, like a doe. Oddly, the members call Pharita doe eyes as well. People say Ahyeon looks like Jennie from Blackpink, however, I did a side by side comparison and I don't see it. I think Ahyeon's features are unique and different from Jennie's. Both are beautiful for sure. With reagrd to "Dangerously"...this is a Charlie Puth cover that went viral which boosted Charlie's version of the song, which wasn't doing well, but improved dramatically. Charlie Puth later gifted a song he wrote called "Like That" to Babymonster. You may have heard it. During Ruka's rap part the camera panned to a man in the audience. His Name is Bigtone and he is the rap instructor. After Episode 8, there is the "member announcement" video where YG announces the members to us. The interim final 5, Ruka, Asa, Rami, Rora and Ahyeon had already been selected in 2021. But YG would not debut the girls who had already trained for 4 to 5 years. Blackpink Lisa had blown up the Thailand into a mega market for YG. He had to have Thai members in Baby Monster so YG went to Thailand where a thousand girls auditioned and they found Pharita. A year later Chiquita was discovered performing with Red Rose, a kpop group in Thailand. She was asked to come to train at YG and with just 3 months training YG was confident he had his Thai members. The final evaluation was to help make up his mind who in the interim final 5 to drop to fit in the 2 Thai girls. But the 7 girls performed so well together that YG had no choice but to select all 7 girls.

Blackpink Lisa had blown up the Thailand into a mega market for YG. He had to have Thai members in Baby Monster so YG went to Thailand where a thousand girls auditioned and they found Pharita. A year later Chiquita was discovered performing with Red Rose, a kpop group in Thailand. She was asked to come to train at YG and with just 3 months training YG was confident he had his Thai members. The final evaluation was to help make up his mind who in the interim final 5 to drop to fit in the 2 Thai girls. But the 7 girls performed so well together that YG had no choice but to select all 7 girls.

Not just to see their growth, but their journey as well. Even though XG is not considered K-pop that group are the ones who got me into K-pop‼️🙏🏼 and just like XG I’ve watched there growth from the beginning and grown to love them as young artist.
