Charlie: I know your not exaggerating about what you said at start of video. Early December a couple of years ago my partner went into early labour 5.45pm the ambulance took 4 hours to arrive during which time i delivered the baby, he came out quite quick and due to this his skin was purple almost so she was very worried etc. I sat with him wrapped in a towel cord still attached. Because I was mildly frustrated about the 4 hour wait and not being able to go in ambulance to hospital with them (no swear words or aggression simply frustration and worry) they separated me entirely for a full 24hrs while they almost tried talking her into being some kind of victim it was surreal. Neither of us had any kind of criminal record of prior social service type events in our life's it actually caused arguments for months to come where there should of been joy and proud feelings. We don't even talk about it now...she won't. Mad world which at times is very nasty.
I had a similar experience when I took my 6 year old daughter to A&E, concerned about her temperature and pulse rate while she had a vital infection. An extremely antagonistic "specialist" children's nurse conducted part of her triage and seemed to focus more on her home life and establishing parental class over her basic observations. After goading me for an hour I had enough and declared my occupation as a band 7 nurse. I challenged her on what grounds her apparent safeguarding assessment was being conducted and she disappeared quickly but not before she let me know things could go very badly should I show any signs of "non-compliance" or if I were to challenge her authority in any way. Total psychopath. I opted to get my daughter as far away from her as possible.

@clivewiddall3430 you are one of the lucky ones, I fell down some steps a couple of months ago and ended up in and out of ambulances for 16 hours, at one point they wanted to put me in a chair in the A&E waiting room, I was in agony lying down, I refused and said I'd rather go home, I threatened to complain and they soon changed their tune. I was discharged after having an x-ray and given the all-clear, but I was not OK. After pushing for an MRI, I had a few weeks later, it showed I had fractured my spine!! This is just one example of mine and my families experiences of poor treatment from the NHS I also lost my mum through misdiagnosis, so this is a very upsetting subject for me. Like I said, you are lucky.

The only way to get looked after half decently in the NHS is to complain, in my experience recently
In 10 years of needing the Nhs I’ve never had a problem, they have saved my life numerous times!
