This is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. It really helped me see what the shell dust looks like when done correctly. I think that a lot of it has to do with the perfection of the carve. That dust highlights every flaw.
Thank you,
That was awesome. Very cool design.
The design is not mine, you should be able to discover the designer in the other comments. You are correct it's an awesome design.
nice, new title suggestion: "How to Hide Kokain the proper way" 😁👌😂😂😂
The only question is how to get it back?
Did you crush that mother of pearl into powder? Or, did you buy powder? I ordered some flakes for some small fretboard inlays was looking for powder just wondering..
I buy it as powder.
Is it iridescent like normal mother of pearl? Does it look grainy or just like smoth Mother of Pearl Blocks?
If you polish it it has the same qualities, solid is better, but there are a lot of things you can't do with solid material.
@@TwoCherriesIns thanks
Do you know of someone that could cut a few pieces of inlay for me?
I would normally be happy to do it for you, at. The moment I'm totally booked up.
Found it! Thx
Enjoy it
I was thinking of replacing the headstock sticker with inlay, is it practical for me to do so on a built and finished guitar?
It's possible, it wouldn't be easy.
What is he using Pearl dust
Yes, it's ground Mother Of Pearl
This looks familiar 😁
It should.
I hear White Lines playing in the background!

Nice job! Do you use PreciseBits cutters for your inlay?
Oh, I see
Yes, I have a few bits from them, I think the 1/16" bit in this video is from them.
