My husband has recently passed. These three kitties and their human family really cheer me up when I'm sad and upset. I've been watching them for a long time and I love the characters that Momma has created. So talented.

Ms.kristi, i was recently diagnosed with 3rd stage RA and have had alot of time unable to do much(sometimes not even able to work my phone) the last 3 months and even on my worst days you and the kitties have made me smile. Thank you hope y'all have a merry Christmas and thanks for all the videos
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2006, but probably had it since I was a juvenile. The best thing you can do is literally keep moving. I'm 67 now, and last year my Dr prescribed a walker, and it's wonderful. I have 2, one for outside and inside. Work with your Dr on medication, and take magnesium at night. A game changer. Watching the antics of these kitties and their mamma, so.e of the best medicine. Hang in there, merry Christmas, patricia
@@3rscrafting that's what I thought too, but over the past couple of months the first knuckle in my thumbs no longer bends right. It's now bone on bone in both thumbs. What I always ignored and thought was osteoarthritis wasn't and when it started to flare it took 4 months to finally see a rheumatologist and get some meds to help. I'm only 52 but most days I feel 80. Probably should have been on biologics decades ago. Lol
@@kimpetersen8237 I honestly have the world's best rheumatologist. If you drink alcohol you have to give it up. But, there's hope. I have bone on bone in my lower spine. Hurts like a bit** but, I have a topical ointment that changed my life. A couple dabs of that, the pain is gone for awhile anyway. Unfortunately, you have an invisible disease so people think your joints are achy. They don't understand that you walk around feeling like you have the flu ALL THE TIME. I take hydrcodone and 800 mgs ibuprofen. I take them together. Separately they do not work. I also take gabapentin when it flares. It presses on my sciatic nerve. My muscles will also cramp, so you have to hydrate really well and I take flexibility when necessary. I am on humira twice a month. Biologics can cause cancer and my Dr will not prescribe it more, and it's the only thing, except methotrexate that works. The side effects of methotrexate are too awful. It's a chemo drug. My right thumb is twice the normal size, but I still have some movement. Try to stay as active as you can. Swimming is great and bike riding. Also they did a test of people with chronic pain, the Dr will always ask, what's your pain level. People with chronic pain will say five and people with an acute pain scream 20. You'll also have days when you say, I didn't know how bad I felt until I felt better. Your people, coworkers just have to understand that when it flares, you don't control that and you have to rest. The fatigue is overwhelming. I now have a shower chair and that helps a lot. I keep telling my son to stick me in a home and be free. We have no.other living family, so we live together. We have an understanding that when I say it's flailing, he knows Kim not lying, trying to get attention, etc. My damn body is on fire. My temperature goes up and my joints are on fire. So don't be hesitant to tell those around you, im not just complaining, I. Incapacitated beyond my control. Also, go for a session of physical therapy. They'll explain why your body feels a certain way and teach you gentle exercises to strengthen your muscles around the joint. It really is beneficial. Don't mean to go on so much, but I want to encourage you, even with stage 3, you can still lead a full life. It's different than before, you have to change things, but with constant monitoring by your Dr's, including both your pcp and rheumatologist , you can still enjoy your life. You will have depression. Get therapy and drugs. I take citolopram, a low dose, but it helps so much. At 67, im the oldest person to live this long on either side of my family going back to the civil war. I live in Virginia. I've read medical journals where people in stage 3 go into remission for a few months to years. A really good exercise for me is, I vacuum. You walk and you stretch your arms while pushing it back and forth, and your house is cleaner. It doesn't have to be your big one. I also have a ltwt vac I got for 20 bucks at Walmart. We have hardwood floors, but it works on carpet, too. Again, sorry to be so long, but have faith you can still have a good life, different but good. Watch these crazy cats makes me laugh out loud. WILLOW: look'a"here. ....touch me again ... oh, my knee ... TIGGER: bring me a beer, honey. WHEEZER: get it yourself, I gotta go deal, and clean out the doo doo box and the bathroom. Ha. Tigger reminds me of my 2 male Siberian cats. My 12 year old Siberian terrorizes the Boston Terrorist and the 5 year old climbs onto the TV stand to watch football. They have tried beer, Scotch and Bailey's, but the drinker moved out a few years ago. I have to share shrimp, steak, BBQ, and sweet ham or they cuss me out.

So don't be hesitant to tell those around you, im not just complaining, I. Incapacitated beyond my control. Also, go for a session of physical therapy. Don't mean to go on so much, but I want to encourage you, even with stage 3, you can still lead a full life. It's different than before, you have to change things, but with constant monitoring by your Dr's, including both your pcp and rheumatologist , you can still enjoy your life. You will have depression. Get therapy and drugs. I take citolopram, a low dose, but it helps so much. At 67, im the oldest person to live this long on either side of my family going back to the civil war. I live in Virginia. I've read medical journals where people in stage 3 go into remission for a few months to years. A really good exercise for me is, I vacuum. You walk and you stretch your arms while pushing it back and forth, and your house is cleaner. It doesn't have to be your big one. I also have a ltwt vac I got for 20 bucks at Walmart. We have hardwood floors, but it works on carpet, too. Again, sorry to be so long, but have faith you can still have a good life, different but good. Watch these crazy cats makes me laugh out loud. Tigger reminds me of my 2 male Siberian cats. My 12 year old Siberian terrorizes the Boston Terrorist and the 5 year old climbs onto the TV stand to watch football. They have tried beer, Scotch and Bailey's, but the drinker moved out a few years ago. I have to share shrimp, steak, BBQ, and sweet ham or they cuss me out.
