Hello everyone!! Just so no one has to argue here like in the comments of the other video I had filmed this day.... I know that many of you don't like my brows like this. Duly noted! Trust me, I heard you and am constantly working on my makeup to make it look better but overall I do my makeup for *me* (as you should do for you). Best thing about makeup is though that it's FUN, we can experiment (like I did here), and we can wash it off at the end of the day ^_^

I think this palette is absolutely worth the money. The shadows in my palette are wonderful and the quality is great. I would highly recommend this palette. Cassie... you sound like you are so afraid of offending people. I value your opinion but the review you gave on this palette is similar to the natural love palette... COME ON GIRL.... just put it out there the way you feel. You like this palette, you saw value in it, you are enjoying it. I dont like these wishy washy, tip toeing reviews to try to please everyone type of reviews. Where is confident Cassie? We love you girl! Own it!
Mimi and Cassie, I totally agree. I have this NARS palette and personally, I love the color selection in this palette. I also loved the look I came up with today. I will say that this palette DOES have a lot of powder kick up and fallout, but I'm OKAY with that. I bought this palette with MY MONEY because I WANTED it-Plain and simple. Cassie, I don't think you should try to please all the masses. Makeup is so personal for every person, and I don't like how people are so quick to pick apart someone else's opinion. If a person wants the palette, great. If a person wants to find a dupe for it, that's great. If a person isn't interested, that's great too. You shouldn't be made to feel bad though for enjoying this palette. If getting this palette was a treat for you, girl do you!
I agree! I own it. It's essspensive for sure. But so worth it to me! Absolutely do not regret my purchase.
Things I love about your channel: 1) you're real, your looks and tutorials are "do-able" for most people 2) your music choices on here are magic 3) you don't use false lashes 4) you're refusal to let negativity stop you from you doing you. For what it's worth 😀
Ulta sells a palette by makeup revolution call chocolate vice. It has very similar shades plus a whole lot more for $15 and is often on sale and is good quality. It's my favorite palette from makeup revolution and I don't hear many people talking about it. Just thought I'd mention it in case someone was looking for an alternative to the nars one.

l pittmon that looks like a waste of money. Makeup Revolution has better palettes with similar shades of better quality for sure. More shades, better quality, much cheaper...u could buy at least 4 M.R. palettes for the cost of this nars palette. Now that would be a treat!!
l pittmon agreed! Here is where I'll add my unsolicited recommendation, LOL the 'light and shade' palette that's a dupe for Kat's - I LOVE that one! I'm on my second one and hitting pan on a few shades in it already; an awesome 'every day' makeup palette! Their chocolate bars are really good, my favourite is the yellow one.. having a brain fart on the name, but all the ones I've tried are really nice.
I'm pretty sure Ulta does the buy one, get one a lot with Makeup Revolution - they're definitely worth looking into!!
I am freaking out about how gorgeous the three eye looks are! This kind of inspiration makes me want to wear makeup everyday!

it annoys me how high end makeup brands keep pumping out the same generic color palettes and price them so high. i get that they're high end brands but it's like almost criminal 😂 makeup has improved so much in the last few years. you can buy like one high end palette and it last you a while. i still have my lorac pro from when it first came out
Zoie H I love my Lorac Pro palettes, they never let me down. I hear you with that too. I looked at the new Tartlette Toasted palette that's coming out and it just looks so "meh".

Am I the only one so bored with neutral palettes? We have them, people. How many neutral colored palettes do we actually need here? C'mon makeup brands, give us something new and exciting. Even the prettiest new neutral palettes, there's just no way it can give me enough shadows I don't already own four times over.

I do own this palette and I love it! For me it is a sophisticated everyday palette, if you can afford it. Sufficiently pigmented but not so overly that I have to blend for 10 minutes each time. I can make an easy work day look with it and spice it up for an evening out.
On a side note, I actually really like your brows! They have an dolly-bohemian vibe...lovely

I may have an unpopular opinion here, but even as a fellow struggling artist I found this palette to be worth the $60 price tag. The colors are unique but neutral at the same time, and are extremely easy to apply. While they might not be as immediately wowing in a finger swatch, they seem to perform really well with brushes and last literally ALL DAY. I am a full time barista/server/manager. I need my makeup to last through a 9hr shift and still look bomb. BUT....honestly a part of the worth-it nature for me is the packaging too. I've had the sad realization that I don't reach for makeup that doesn't draw me in - I end up using palettes like this and the tartelette in bloom over any of my other ones because they call out to me from my dresser. And they look great while on display. Makes me feel shallow but it's the truth. \(-_-)/
I will agree though. This is a "treat yourself" palette. Half the price is the eye shadow, the other half is the beauty of the packaging and the name behind it.

I really love when you do looks with a colorful liner! It always looks so great on you! What brand(s) do you use with your colorful liners? They look creamy like a Colourpop but I want to try that teal shade you used!

I love your eyebrows, they look a bit like mine in the thickness on the inner corner (my arches and tails are a little thicker lol), please don't mind the people complaining about your eyebrows. Hell, you could wear a unibrow and no one should care! Eyebrows are SUCH a personal aspect of makeup; everyone has naturally unique brows and different brow preferences. I think these look quite natural on you, compared to the norm of super fake sculpted brows on YT 😊

A dupe for this is the Smashbox Lighting Theory palette, it comes with more colors and it includes cream contours and other stuff for only $36.
I think we paid for the perfect colors too. Usually, we used only 3 or 4 colors, but with this one I used everty one !! :)

I typically go with how much i can do. Single shadow looks, doubles, etc. as to worthiness. I'm unsure (as you said) it's worth $60, but if joy has been found, it's worth it. Idk! But I love your makeup today, you're so pretty. Do you!
Your brows are nice and thick, which is much nicer than skimpy brows. I think the NARS palette looks a lot like a lot of other nude palettes. I hate to say that I'm not buying any of them. I have enough brown, beige, and caramels to last me years. The metallics are beautiful but I have them too. It seems like they all start to look alike. Glad they're at nice if a tad pricey. Enjoy them!

This palette reminds me a lot of the Wet n Wild Au Naturel palette in 'Bare Necessities'. You could make the same looks with the Wet n Wild palette as the NARS, and the quality of the shadows seems very similar. It's only $5 or $6 too. For that reason, the NARS palette really doesn't seem worth it.

I found that if I took my tartlette in bloom palette and mixed in some single shadows I got from a nyx lingerie advent calendar (especially that red copper shade and the yellow gold shade) I pretty much got an exact dupe of the Nars palette

This somewhat reminds me of the Shaaanxo Palette (which I just got). It was 14.50 at BH Cosmetics and I absolutely love it. So if you want a cheaper dupe, get that. Lol

I kinda feel the same way about Nars (though not as much) as I do about Natasha Denona or that Huda Beauty palette - unless the shadows are going to be life changing, they are overpriced for shadows I know I already have - that being said the swatches and your looks were beautiful though!
