A good friend of mine who was the owner of a store I work at used to love this song. His name was Mike and he would sit by the front door with his leg up sipping on a cheerwine tapping his other hand of the beat of the song. For a while he listened to this song every day sometimes multiple times a day which became annoying, but since he passed on the 22nd this song just melts my heart. Me being someone whos "family" is more like strangers he was the closest thing I had. Every day he came to work because he wanted to, I could always depend on seeing him we had a lot of good talks, taught me a lot and those lessons and conversations will stick with me for the rest of my life.
