The littering situation is disgusting. I'm all for people enjoying the outdoors but if they can't leave the outdoors as they find it, they should stay at home.

Great video Andy and like many others I'm also disgusted with the amount trash left on Kinder or anywhere for that matter.. I've yet to wildcamp on or near fairbrook naze as I tend to search out the quiter spots along the northern edge. On your return route I'm shaw that's the path I took 2 weekends ago for my Kinder gates wildcamp and found it a lot easier than that middle path you pointed out.. Great views in the morning accross the Vale of Edale and over the great ridge into castleton 👍😁 p.s just got myself a durston Xmid 1 solid delivered to my works add instead of home today 🙄 I'm hoping it's there in the morning when I clockon..
But yes, I'm sick of taking other folks rubbish of the hills and moors.. 🤬 I wouldn't mind, but the rubbish is actually lighter and more compactable than when they took it up there.. so no excuse not to bring it back down with them.. rant over.. Good video Andy 😁👍

I did my first ever wildcamp in 2018 on that spot you mentioned Andy near the path. That was a two man tent with the Mrs… her first and last camp 😂

Great video as per usual Andy the football has never been of any interest to me. I lived next to Manchester Uniteds ground growing up so i was more interested in minding cars to earn money to spend on climbing gear and trips when i was a kid. All my mates spent all their money on following football and now we are in our 60s i always ask them how many birthday/Christmas cards or thanks they have had from Man U or the players .....i bet you can answer that one . Bugger All 😂😂😂
The rubbish situation is indeed dire. I actually found 3 blocks of firewood stashed behind some rocks last week too but i burried them. I have seen the odd block on the path even a couple of times so not sure if it could be the same idiots who are taking these up. I dont think i have ever created more rubbish that wouldnt all fit inside a freeze dried meal sachet ever when i have spent the night on a mountain but i thought everyone knows that trick where you can crush a can with your foot and reduce its volume to less than a 3rd of its size. They are just bone idle piss heads who have no respect or appreciation of the Great Outdoors and most likely live like pigs at home too.

I've had this rant a few times in videos I've done. Too many times now I'm seeing people leave their crap. It's not hard to carry it back down with you.
    Great video mate 👊🏼

Unfortunately not just Kinder Scout that’s been plagued by littering, Derwent Edge is getting bad also. Noticed a few spots with pot noodle pots, tissues and tea bags stuffed in between rocks.

Good stuff Andy, always watch your videos mate.
I was up on Howden Moors yesterday, camped at Crow Stones (video out tomorrow 😊)
I know all about the bilberries around here & noticed they are coming out a bit early this year. On my way down to Slippery Stones I stopped & pick some, & I thought to me sen, I’m getting in here before Mr Beavers eats em all!! 😂
    Take care pal

Camped up on Seal stones Friday night. Walked up Golden clough after watching your previous video. Great route really interesting just got to watch out for the bit that is giving way at the start. Rained all night but eased off in the morning. Thanks for finding those great routes. As you say always LNT or even better than when you found it. I picked up somebody’s rubbish on way down 😊

Really is putting me off certain areas too. Some people are just down right irresponsible and disrespectful. . Getting to point where you dare not mention locations incase they too become popular and trashed. It's not difficult to follow the leave no trace etiquette.

Really enjoyable video Andy. It's really does boil my p**s people leaving their rubbish on the hill. It's irresponsible, disrespectful and darn right disgusting. These popular spots getting trashed really puts me of visiting them and using them myself anymore. I feel its getting to the point that you dare not mention places incase they too become popular and risk getting trashed too. People should always Leave no trace. Sadly this doesn't always happen. Rant over . ATB mate

I no longer share my favorite spots due to this very reason. In the states, the national parks continue to be strained at the seams and people keep defacing precious places, disregarding rules that keep themselves and the natural world safe, and being so entitle they simply do whatever they want. Since the world doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, they believe they can (and usually do) get away with it.

The same mentality as dumping tyres or building waste in the countryside, fly tippers leaving disposable BBQ's and cans will spoil it for the rest of us.

Like many, just can’t get my head around, why people who are obviously enjoying being outdoors, feel perfectly ok with leaving their rubbish behind.
They genuinely do not seem to care, and are happy to ruin things for others/wildlife.
    Bewildering 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Lovely morning that 👍🏼

Anyway Andy , footy was terrible mate as you sat in tent i sat in pub with mates, should've gone on a camp instead.
Beautiful views coming back down the knoll , did it couple week before, some poor sods with the biggest backpacks ( took their own bed with em i reckon ) heading up towards the bottom gate and up the knoll...dont think they realised how long and steap it is , must've bout killed em off.🥵🥵🥵.
    Thanks for the video mate.👍👍🍺

Great camp Andy, though somewhat spoilt for you I fear by the football result. At least you will always remember where you were when you watched the match.
Leaving rubbish in the countryside seems to be becoming a sign of the times. It’s no wonder some landowners try to ban campers from their land! Carrying our ‘empties’ out is a very small price to pay for the privilege and pleasure of visiting such beautiful areas. People who don’t accept this SHOULD be banned!

Nice one Andy, great footage, I'm more concerned about the litter than the England result. I recently reported a woman who had thrown either a tissue or sweet wrappers out of her car window on the woodhead pass, I'm told she received a £100 fine, just think if everyone reported things like this when it's on dash cam. Look forward to your next video as always, Rich
