Thanks for the tour around part of the centre of Liverpool. Fluffy Fluffy looked fab. The presentation of the pancakes was amazing, the place looked spotless and the staff were great..We loved this vlog. Jacob wants to🧔 go and live at Fluffy Fluffy. Thanks for this. 🤓🐶🧔
Town has changed a lot over the years. In my opinion, for the better. Lots of eateries, pubs, bars, always a great atmosphere. 👍 I work in Bold Street. It's always buzzing.
WOW!!! Thank you, Tracy & Colin. You're wonderful! What a fabulous tour of Whitechapel and surrounding areas. (And thanks for the name-drops!) Memories came flooding back. Wonderfully surprised to see the original Rushworths building remains. (A Reece's coffee bar was on the first floor toward the back; across the street was The Nut House.) Purchased shirts and British-styled caps from Littlewoods on Whitechapel....still have 'em. Remember Russell's Jewelers & Watchmakers a few doors down? And Thorton's candy shop? (Best chocolate ever!) Made one visit each year from 1980 through 1983.....pre-Christmas in 1981 was so festive, with a Salvation Army(??) band around Church Street; Christmas "poppers"; failed (but fun) attempt with a Yard of Ale; handcarts with steamed "beef burgers"; a match with the Reds; Sefton Park; Rockford's Disco; a "basement tour" of NEMS; a couple of meals in the rotating restaurant, with nighttime views of Liverpool lights....and on and on. And it's true what they say: Liverpudlians are the friendliest people on Earth. Thanks again. BEST OF HEALTH IN '24 AND BEYOND!
Hi Michael, arr you are very welcome 🙏🏻 We’re so pleased you enjoyed watching , and it brought back happy memories for you ❤️, We remember some of the shops you mention, I ( Tracy) especially remembers Thorntons 😂 their praline and chocolate ….wow 🤩 Thank you 🙏🏻 , we appreciate your kind words ❤️ love and best wishes from Liverpool xx
@@TracyandColinTheFoodies BTW....glad you enjoyed your Fluffy Fluffy pancakes. Looked great! Unfortunately, they'd violate so many of my vegetarian principles. 🍓🐕🐈⬛
Thankyou for showing us around the Liverpool city centre. We must visit Liverpool for longer if we ever come back to the UK. It definitely looks a town worth a closer look.
i'm old enough to remember all those old shops you were talking about and Church st with the Traffic on! it was better like that they should have left it alone. Fluffy Fluffy looks fantastic and love the old Pearl and Dean music at the end see i really am old ha ha
Hi Gary, haha 😛 Colin agrees with you they should’ve left it alone . … I don’t remember the traffic on church street , but I do remember it on lord street , and waiting for the bus outside BHS 😂 Haha 😛 age is just a number ❤️❤️
What a scrumptious treat! Those pancakes looked so fluffy and gorgeous I could almost taste them! Definitely worth a trip to FLUFFY FLUFFY if in town and looking for a lovely snack. How Liverpool has changed, I wouldn’t recognise it now but I think for the better. So many good places to dine out. It can only help with attracting more visitors. Loved the old Liverpool photos as it was, thanks Colin. Xx 💕
Hi Kath, oh Fluffy Fluffy is a delight 😋😋 You’re right it has changed for the better , so many restaurants bars etc now - you can see how tourists would enjoy coming here ❤️❤️ you’re very welcome glad you enjoyed them Kath xx
I loved seeing a little bit of Liverpool and the "then and now" photos! I also love the turquoise buses 😍 "We're going for a fluffy fluffy" LOL You had the first Woolworths in the UK?? They had it where I grew up, but it was before my time; I don't remember it at all. Tracy, you and I are too young to remember some of these things that the old timers knew! Wow, those pancakes look soooo good. I bet it smells amazing in there too. The UK seems to view waffles and pancakes more of a dessert and in the U.S., they're more often a breakfast item. I prefer a savory breakfast myself, though. There's a place here that does puffed-up omelets and I have no idea how they do it.
Arr I’m glad you enjoyed seeing Liverpool city centre and the buses 😂 Haha, exactly 👍🏻 we weren’t around in the black & white days 😂😂😂 Oh these pancakes were delicious 😋 Yes they are more of a dessert here , but I love having them for breakfast too ❤️😂😂 Oh I bet those omelettes are a delight ❤️❤️
Good evening, Tracy & Colin. As were all Liverpudlians I got to know eons ago, you both were so gracious and kind giving me a look at the former Rushworths building and what Whitechapel and nearby streets look like today. (BTW....loved all the old photos!) So I want to do a little something for you. Do you have a favorite charity? I'd like to make a donation in your names. It would be my extreme pleasure to do so! Cheers!
Hi Michael, arr that would be so kind of you ❤️ There is a local charity that is close to our heart .. literally - it’s The Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital charity ❤️ Colin has a heart condition - Atrial Fibrillation & Our Son George has Asthma so we are very familiar with their work ❤️ Thank you so very much 🙏🏻 love from us all
@@TracyandColinTheFoodies Wonderful! Consider it done! As a newbie to your channel, I wasn't aware of personal histories. A friend from childhood recently had an ablation to destroy heart tissue that had been causing him to go into AFib. A year later....and so far so good. Might Colin be a candidate? I had childhood asthma. By the time I was 12 or so, I had outgrown it, as the doctor said some kids do. All the best to you, Colin and George!
Arr thank you Michael that is so kind of you ❤️ we really appreciate that ❤️ Colin’s is currently being controlled with meds , A couple of years ago he did undergo the cardioversion procedure , where the heart is stopped and then given a controlled shock to restore a normal rhythm 🙏🏻 and he’s been doing good since then 🙏🏻 hopefully that will continue ❤️ As for George with his asthma, he was prone to a lot of chest infections growing up and at 23 he’s still yet to grow out of it 😂😂 Thank you once again Michael for your kindness - love from us all ❤️❤️❤️
