Problems shared are problems halved. These two women, Aziza and Lauren, met online and became "cysters" after discovering that they had identical cysts on their wrist. Dr Sandra Lee is happy to help to remove their ganglion cysts - and what's even better, the women meet face to face for the very first time!

My nephew got the same advice from a doctor, but he was scared it would hurt. Maybe the reason for the 🤣🤣🤣🤣?

I had a ganglion cyst too, instead of draining it we did go to an orthopedic hand surgeon and now it’s just a tiny little scar on my hand, always a memory
I had one as well! Unfortunately mine came back, but it is nowhere near as large or painful as before :)
I had mine removed surgically too, scar almost looks like a wrist crease 👍

@@dakid40777 its a joke and I know people can be prescribed it, im prescribed oxycondone. She never said she's prescribed it or nothing so you can't say she is without knowing her. I'm just joking about it, you don't gotta take it so serious. I never said she wasn't prescribed it either. The whole point was that it's random/ funny and other people clearly thought it was funny as well.
You'd also think she'd want to clarify that she was prescribed it as she's mentioning it to possibly lots of people.

Dr Lee is so sweet to let them keep the contents. I bet the other people in their cyst group are super jealous hahaha. The fluid looks remarkably like corn syrup actually! I used to use it a bunch working at a bakery. It has that same almost colorless clear thick texture.

That's what a doc suggested to my son 24 years ago. Lol, he still has it. Same size as then

I used to have this on my left wrist in the same spot. At first, my doctor pumped off the fluid to reduce the size but later it grew again but suddenly, one day it became super soft and so i pressed it down all over the bump and it was just gone. It has been almost 10 years now.😊

I just had one of these removed actually. Mine was a lot smaller but it was positioned right in-between my tendons for my fingers and on top of a nerve. The procedure to remove it is actually really ease and they just use ultrasound to move a needle into the cyst, drain it, and then break up the capsule. It has a 50/50 chance of working but I am living pain free basically a month later!
They had an update in the same episode that both of theirs came back with full force like a day or 2 later.

I had one of these about 20 years ago, and it became really painful. I had surgery to remove it, was out of work for six weeks. No trouble since, thankfully!
Was it really the same though? Since these aren’t known to be painful + pretty “easy” to remove, i.e won’t make you get out of work for six weeks. I think you had something different/a little more “intrusive”.

My friend has one if these on top of her hand and saw a doc about it. He told her to have her husband band a thick book on top of it every time it pops up and starts to cause pain. That's what she's been doing for 26 years.

This is amazing, I too have the exact same cyst on my left hand! I’ve had it for as long as I can remember. For me it only hurts during two specific activities: doing push-ups and shoveling snow. So weird to see what’s inside it after all this time.
My husband had one but it hurt him so he had it removed. Just removing the fluid is no long term solution, they will refill again almost 100%.
I know cysts is caused by stress but bondin over it oh

I just had one of these removed from my foot. It was rather large and was pressing on a nerve between my first and second metatarsal. Surgery was general anesthesia and I had a nerve block. Couldn't feel my leg for two days. It was the craziest thing...but two weeks later Steri Strips are off and I'm back in regular shoes.

I am a dog groomer and had de quervian tendinitis multiple times which caused me to get a ganglincyst mine was unDer the skins so I didnt know but it started to get extremely painful and I needed surgery. When the surgeon removed it he said it was one of the stra gest ones he had ever seen because it actually wrapped around from the front of my wrist to the other side , I only missed a week of work due to surgery. Unfortunately it's been 2 years and is back. Love how these 2 bonded over their cyst, it was so sweet
I had one removed months ago. I wear a compression brace on my wrist at night to help keep my wrist smooth.
I have one of these right now. I’ve had it for over a year now but I have a doctors appointment in 6 days 🤞🏼
