Great job explaining the sketching features. Question: you can change a sketched circle into a construction (dash line) circle. How do I show that particular construction circle on the drawing? I can explain if needed.

Vladimir why do you say at the end, the better practice is to create the feature directly in 2D? Do you mean create the sketch first then activate the 3D shape? I have never known if that is better or to start with the Extrude or Revolve command, for instance.
Also one point, just because I have never seen it mentioned in anyone's videos: the Sketch command is in the Datum menu, because a sketch is nothing but a customised datum reference. I think that is an important point in understanding the principle of 3D modelling.

Hi, from my experience is much better to start with Extrude (revolve, etc.) feature and create sketch inside, because system know if the sketch has to be closed or not, or if you need to think about sharp edges or not (for example if you create Sheetmetal features. If you see my modeling process in another videos... I use sometimes separated sketch if I need to reuse existing geometry or sketch. Maybe I have put some misleading info (not clear in video)

And Datum features in the sketch... For example Datum points are useful for Point pattern ;)

I think first step for 3D..
