I'm Belgian and I'm very disappointed. We keep on hearing gis song on the radio and I was convinced he'd qualify... (even though the live performance did lack a little something) I still the song but I feel so heartbroken right now. Goodnight Eurovision fam ❤

I hate to say it, but you’re going to need to start getting comfortable talking about Israel… After seeing today’s result I think they will certainly win the televote and could easily win the competition. Remember people can only vote for a country, not against one, and having 60% of a population hate you doesn’t help much if the remaining 40% all unanimously put you first.

Usually the Baltics either don’t do well or all failed to qualify in a competing year ending in four (Estonia and Lithuania finished bottom two in their 1994 debut, in fact the latter got zero points, and all three failed qualify in 2004 and 2014), but not this time, baby. All the Baltics are in the final for 2024!
My favourites are Switzerland and Norway, and I’m not surprised that they got through! 💚Nemo did so well, I’m really impressed by the performance, still my no 1., but I wouldn’t mind Norway winning either. France surprised me in a very positive way! I’m happy for Latvia, Estonia and 🎶Armenia🎶. I’m not a big fan of Georgia, Austria or Israel, I would’ve prefered Belgium to qualify.
Just My personal taste but I agree with you on Austria, I just never got it, just not for me. I'm not into Estonia either, and I never got Greece either. Malta did very good even if the song is not for me and I didn't like her outfit, so I thought it would take the place from Greece. I'm glad Latvia got through, but sad for Denmark. The Netherlands was a mix of fun and heartfelt, and it has grown so much on me. Norway smashed it! I just love that so much, and Nemo was amazing as well. My top 5 on saturday will be Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France and Portugal. France just gave me winner vibes tonight/top 5 at least, but maybe thats just me, but of course everything can happen but Switzerland is still one to go very high I think.
I got 9/10 right for the first semi final. However for the second semi final, I didn't make a list because it was harder to call but I wouldn't have done so well predicting the qualifiers anyway.
Got 9/10 for this semi surprisingly enough, I was so sure Belgium would qualify instead of Latvia because well, Belgium’s vocals might not have been the steadiest but I still found it better in terms of staging and like the climax of the song. Compared to Belgium I found Latvia a tad bland and it wasn’t as captivating to me? Great portrayal of emotions though, I just really didn’t expect it to get through. A shock qualifying indeed, we love a good surprise :) Being Dutch myself, I loved the Europapa stage for its simplicity while still being powerful and giving the audience an energetic show. Talk of ‘going out with a bang’. Also loved loved loved Switzerland, my jaw was quite literally on the floor because just how steady his vocals were while leaning back and turning round, really damn impressive.
I did not like Latvia, but aftet live perfomance I almost cried with him! Love him.. I wanted San Marino in final and I am happy for Austria I love that song.
I think this semifinal is a good example of how different live performances can be compared to the music videos. Especially Belgium and also Armenia fell a bit flat, although i still had Armenia on my list for qualifying and am very happy they still did! They deserve it! Very happy you did get 9/10 through! I also got 8/9 from the ones I thought really should qualify although I am kinda sad Czechia didn't make it eventhough they were one of my qualifiers. Really sad about Belgium though, he was one of my top 5 before the semifinals, but live it sadly didn't hold up. Am really happy with the rest though and hope they will all do amazing in the finals!

I had it in my Top 5, even as a potential winner… I would have swapped it happily with Austria. Czechia and San Marino were cool too. To bad there were so many fan favorites in this semi. I could have lived without several of the fan favorites. It’s just not my favorite year. Although I get, that these songs are beloved, for me personally they are just incredibly annoying to listen to (Norway, Greece, Slovenia, etc.) and some others to boring… No hate for the artists, just not my taste of music 🤷♀️🙏🏻
I am still shocked that Belgium did not make it to the final!! For me this was the most sentimental song of the bunch, it had instantly touched me, and it was on my potential winners list. I was bored by Latvia, I was sure it wouldn't qualify, I can't stand Estonia, I still do not get all this love for the Israeli entry, for me, this is a mediocre ballad of a kind which we have heard and seen 1.000 times in the ESC. An unpopular opinion from me, I find Armenia very cute, uplifting, but for my ears it is too quick, maybe too ethnic? I found the rest of the qualifiers pretty good, I had predicted 9/10 right, Latvia was not on my list, I had Mta snd Sarah instead, for me maybe the best performance of the night. I have followed the latest news and controversies about the current situation of the ESC and the final...well, I got very sad and very disappointed, not only because the EBU lets Israel participate while being on a war, but somehow it seems that the result is gonna be rigged towards Israel winnig or at keat finishing top 3. Please do not get me wrong, I am a pretty devoted fan of the contest, I do not really believe in conspiracy theories of any sort, but for me, the EBU does everything pissible to joun tbe bunch of people who believe the ESC results can be manipulated and altered. I really wish I were wrong, because up zo now I gad a special sentimental and ronantic bond to this contest. I dtill hope for a fair contest tonight!

I got 8/10 tonight. Had Czechia and Denmark instead of Greece and Estonia. Was a strong semi though, I liked literally all of the songs.
