An acquaintance decided to take up motorcycling. He was forty. Got the biggest Kawa Ninja, took one ride and then parked the bike in a garage for good. "Too much for me." A skinny 50-year old guy got himself a V2 Guzzi. Dropped it on a gravel road. The knee got twisted badly, and trying to lift the beast he broke his back. That was it. A fat guy in his fifties bought an Aprilia Tuono. After one ride he called to shop and asked them to take it back.
It’s pretty common for older people getting into motorcycles to do it wrong. Seems like most think they know what they’re doing but in reality they shouldn’t pick the biggest bike they can find. I’ve heard that story many times.

Great Vid. In the past I've been guilty of not looking through the corner and getting target fixation / panic. Been working on that lately.
Luckily that’s something with my previous experience I’ve been good at avoiding. But many riders are guilty of this. Thanks for watching.
