I forget if you mentioned The Black Dahlia Murder in a previous video or not. Nocturnal is still probably my favorite album of all time and has so much nostalgia wrapped around it for me.

almost all of them are in my playlist, and laughed way to hard on the whole series. for the next one include: Electric Callboy, Bury Tomorrow, Mental Cruelty, Heilung, Wardruna, The Browning, Annisokay, Orbit Culture, Left to Suffer.
He already did Electric Callboy, but all the others sound pretty good.

I'd say get Heilung and Wardruna off the list since neither of them are metal, but he has covered rock bands on here before (Halestorm and Starset were in this video for example), and Wardruna is an offshoot of Gorgoroth anyway.

In fact, I listen to a lot of bands, and my playlist has both Cannibal Corpse and Nickelback 🤣, so I'll just leave here 10 of my most favorite bands at the moment: Sabaton, Nightwish, Wintersun, Eluveitie, Equilibrium, Amorphis, Disturbed, Amaranthe, Parkway Drive and Slaughter To Prevail.
The Cthulhu's mouth bit is the most accurate description of Ben Duerr's vocals i've heard so far lmao.

As a huge Kamelot fan (Roy Khan era), this explains why I also love those other bands so much lol
I mean they're all power metal, so makes sense... though I'm not sure how I feel about kamelot being "confused" with any of the rest, they're not that similar 😭 like kamelot vs blind guardian besides both being power metal and having germans in lineups have absolutely nothing in common
@itslakebornnotoceanborn True, but I can see how someone who isn't that familiar with Kamelot or power metal in general might think so on first glance, albeit very superficially. Hell, even Kamelot couldn't be confused with Kamelot, depending on the album (Siege Perilous and Ghost Opera sound like two different bands, with the exception of Khan's singing). Still, I do love all the other bands "confused" with them, so I can't be too mad that they're compared with the greats of power metal, even though yeah, they're not really that similar (especially Kamelot, since they're way more progressive and symphonic)

@itslakebornnotoceanborn Right, my bad if I phrased that wrong, but that was exactly my point, that their sound changed dramatically throughout their discography.
I watched the reboot directly after the original (even though I still haven't finished the reboot season), so I really get what you mean about the feel. It was jarring during the first episode. However, after a bit of adjusting, I'm enjoying it so far. The humor feels different (more meta-humor and jokes about social trends - which might feel dated soon), but I guess that's just the result of the internet being the realm of mainstream culture now. Every Scudworth scene so far has been absolute gold, though, and has had me laughing hysterically. Also, Frida Kahlo is a great new character, but damn, I miss Gandhi

I mean I listen to the band from time to time but don't know any of their fans except one girl online and she's really chill, though has her quirks like really liking goth dresses and mermaids and re-dyeing her hair every three weeks. Starset is so accurate, especially their debut album, almost every track is song ending and then those epic instrumentals playing. How come nobody still invited them to make soundtracks for superhero blockbusters or science oriented movies?
The kamelot one though, what kind of shade towards power metal was that 💀 I mean I see how lots of those bands sound similar to each other but some have straight up nothing in commom, like come on 😭
