    Thank you for this review! I also have found it takes me longer to dry, but my hair feels alot softer and shinier overall. I have found using the care and fast modes with nozzles off dries it fastest. I hated the Dyson dryer on my hair. It made it feel like straw. This is a much better dryer for my bleached hair.

    Thank you so much. I would love to see a comparison between Zuvi and Dyson.
    I mean, most of these technologies have been found and implanted in the Dyson years before, which means it has more credibility since more people have used it and shared its review for a while now. Also, I found that Zuvi's marketing strategy is more focused on the people who never tried or owned Dyson, as the Zuvi features sound very similar to Dyson.
    A customer like myself who has tried Dyson before will find it hard to see the difference? Like, what are they offering? Why it's extraordinary? Are they pioneering any specific technology?
    As some people may talk about the light feature "therapy benefits," I feel if people genuinely want these benefits, they may buy a red light therapy that can be used on all body parts rather than a new dryer.
    Thank you for this review once again.

      Yes, I’d like to do a comparison but the Dyson is very expensive so it’s tricky. I will try to do this at some point though.

      The difference between these two is that Dyson is a heat dryer and Zuvi is not. Hence, much healthier for your hair.

    I bought it as it has a 30 days money back guaranty. I don't see how it can style any hair, as the air it makes is simply not hot enough for styling. However, I love how it feels and if helps my hair stay healthy I think it's worth it as I don't do any high grade styling for work or daily life.

    Hi Clare
    I absolutely love your channel and wanted to say a massive thank you for all of your reviews. You mention near the end of this review you are using a conditioning shampoo, is this still As I Am, which you previously reviewed? Your hair looks in fab condition, so just wanted to check if this could be part of the reason.
    I ordered AS I Am immediately after your review (through your link), and happy to report I love it and don't think I could ever go back to ordinary shampoo. I recently bought the leave-in conditioner which is just as amazing.
    Thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into this channel, it's massively appreciated x💗x

    Thanks for this review. I had no clue about this product..its right up my alley. I rarely use a regular hair dryer just due to how damaging this can be for the hair. What that means is I very often get up super early if I have a big event etc and want to curl my hair. You did mention your hair is still a little damp in the middle. The 5 minutes it takes to dry your hair..how wet is your hair in the middle after those 5 minutes

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  2 года назад +2

      Hi Tammy. Glad you found the review helpful. I have thick hair so I’m going to be at the more extreme end for drying time, but taking the nozzle off and drying my hair for a couple of minutes and then putting it on and styling for the last few means my hair is pretty near dry. It doesn’t feel bone dry straight away because the light is drying the surface of your hair.
      It takes a little getting used to : )

Even though my hair is thin it can still take several hours to dry, would the Zuvi be beneficial for me? Or will I get the same effects with air drying (albeit taking longer to dry). Many thanks.

      Hi Debra. Having got used to the Zuvi now I have grown to love it. I use it with the nozzle off on the fast setting and it dries my hair more quickly without overheating it so I think you may find this beneficial. Your hair should be dry in a few minutes.

      I've stuck with the Zuvi hairdryer and still use it daily. My hair is no longer heat damaged so I think it's made a difference to the condition. It's not the best styling tool so that has to be factored in, but you end up with better hydrated hair.

  • @kokiket

    Hi, so what is the result 6 months later? Did it help to improve your hair health?

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  Год назад +2

      I'm a Zuvi convert now in that I use it to dry my hair daily. It has definitely helped the condition. I keep the nozzle off because it has a direct air flow and I use it on the fast setting. It's not as good as a heated dryer for styling your hair but then you're making up for it on the condition.

      Thank you so much! Funnily enough I've had a few people ask for an update recently. I didn't film one in the end because there was so little interest in this review/product at first but that seems to be changing. I promise to record an update over the summer. I haven't noticed any issues with the light on my skin but that thought has crossed my mind.
      My overall experience with the Zuvi is a positive one, but I do wonder if I'm just benefitting from not using a high-heat setting on my hair rather than the light having a particular benefit.

      @@dani_mack It takes you 30 minutes to dry your hair? Wow. I do have a lot of hair, but sounds like not as much as you. A pro, fast hairdryer should blast your hair dry in a few mins - the problem is the heat damage longer term.

      @@thehonestchannel I wondered that too, but I think I read that they have a patent on it. I'm curious if they will come out with one that let's you have more choices as to fan speed, whether the infrared light is on or off in each speed, etc. If you have it in the mode where you're using the concentrator attachment, but the light isn't on in that mode, it seems like it would be defeating the purpose of protecting the hair cuticle...? But with that attachment on, it also would be blocking more the infrared light too (if it was on). I wonder if they will come up with a solution for that... that is what is holding me back from buying it so far. I want to see what improvements they might make after customer feedback.
      Thank you for your excellent review! I would love to see a video on your current thoughts and how your hair looks and feels! 😀
