SIENNA MARTZ is a New York artist living in the Green Mountains of Vermont with her daughter Luna Wilder, partner and fellow artist Marc N. Bauman, and her companion animals.
Sienna concentrates on soft sculpture installations, fiber art, and wearable designs. She constructs her work through alternative material manipulation blended with traditional textile techniques-while strictly using cruelty-free, vegan materials.
Sienna has exhibited her work internationally in solo and group gallery and museum exhibitions, including in Rome, Seoul, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Providence, Woodstock, Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY. Her work has been featured in major publications including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and The World of Interiors Magazine. Sienna has been commissioned by international art museums, galleries, art consulting firms, dance companies, musicians, and non-profit organizations.

I remember a time when I also felt I needed to stop, I couldn't do everything I wanted and so I chose to enjoy motherhood! it was a delicious choice! I relaxed a lot and found myself enjoying the creative side of it as well, but without the stress of "having to create" I could simply try new techniques, do what inspired me, at my own rithm... now that sol my childreen has grown up I'm diving again in my creative work.

Thank you, Artesã! Choosing motherhood truly is such a liberating and giving act that I'm so glad I have the opportunity to experience. It was a release I deeply needed and I feel so much more connected to myself as a person, artist, mother, daughter, friend. That is wonderful you are able to dive back into your creative work while getting to see your children grow up! What a wonderful cycle of life

So calming, I really love watching other artists at work 😍Where do you buy your textiles? The only stores I have around me are craft stores that have such a lame selection.
Same here, I'm so limited with where I can shop for supplies so I typically source online. But honestly, I find it really challenging because you can't see, feel, and experience the textiles and they never are what I'm expecting based on the website listing. I actually go into detail about this in my video publishing next week, stay tune!

What type of camera are you using at the end of this video to photograph your work?
It was an old Nikon my husband had but we sold it and I can't remember the exact type!
