Hey Karen I just got braces a couple months ago and you should definitely brush before flossing to prevent any stains. It’s hard at first but it’ll get easier I promise. Good luck on your journey!!💗
You can floss before after it doesn’t matter I’ve been having my braces for a year + , im a Registered assistant 🫶🏼

Awww Karen you still beautiful with your braces!! My son got braces and that is a braces threader it helps you floss through the brackets to get the food from between the teeth! You are doing a great job with your oral care cuz my son hates doing that every day! Kudos to you the pain will disappear once your teeth get used to it tho maybe for a few weeks eat only soft foods! 💯 You have been on a self care journey and we have watched you transform into such a beautiful, young lady!! 💖💖 I'm so proud of you! I just completed my braces journey in March after 2 years and 8 months. It sounds so long but it went by fast. Its a lil overwhelming at first and everytime u get adjustments but ur gonna be so happy at the end. Im happy for u. 💛

You can sense the excitement you have now that you got braces. You’re gonna love the end result! Also buy the oral b super floss pre cut strands. They have a built in thicker strand specifically for braces. I loved using those, made is much easier.

You did so good for the first day of getting your braces, I couldn’t eat and was in mad pain my first day. They look so good on you😊 if you start getting pain get a warm cloth and put it on your cheeks and the wax don’t help at all.
Same !!! My lip was so dry and cut up until I got used to keeping my mouth off the wire.

Coming from someone who had braces for 4-5 years, mama I would advise you if it’s too difficult to floss that way get the regular floss picks, and use it the way you would normally use it.
