Okay, I’ll write the explanation in the comments below, BUT ALSO HERE: there’s a link with all the explanations, plus you can also download them as a PDF. In the description, I’ll add something in case I realize later that it needs further explanation.
I also want to mention: I’m bad at English, I know, so sorry in advance. If you have any questions, just ask.
    ► ► justpaste.it/9vz0h
under the comments, I comment on the explanations even so
A little story about how the video came about: I was talking with a friend about Korean battle rap, like 'Show Me the Money' and 'Unpretty Rapstar'. We both agreed that it’s a joke and not comparable to real battle rap, like in America, for example. But I mentioned that we also have a great battle rap culture in Germany, and I wanted to showcase that. At first, I just wanted to send clips and explain them with poor subtitles, but then I thought: I can make a proper public project like this, and that’s what I did, haha.

1⃣ The wordplay relies on the homogeneity (eingespieltes/ein gespieltes) of "well-rehearsed" (experienced, functioning smoothly) and "played" (pretending, fake). Although they sound same, their meanings are opposite, implying the speaker’s team is authentic while the other team is just pretending.
2⃣ In the original German, the word "schenken" is used with a double meaning. In the first sentence ("We're gifting your rubber boat"), "schenken" means "to give," but it's more of a filler without much substance. The wordplay is completed in the second sentence ("We're gifting us the undertone"), where "schenken" takes on its second meaning, which in German can imply "let something be" or "not to do something." This dual meaning of "schenken" is what makes the wordplay effective (btw it's not good, but it's just part of a set up).
3⃣ Dragon Ball reference, if you don't know it, haha - type "Dragon Ball fusion on google"
4⃣ Actually a weak line, but very fitting in this context. In German, there's the phrase 'arm dran sein,' which means someone is in a bad situation, and the word 'arm' (meaning poor) is homogenous with the word 'arm' (as in limb).
5⃣that should be self-explanatory even in english, i just wanted to add that the lines are particularly unpredictable because 420 can actually be associated with hitler in germany because hitler is more omnipresent than cannabis and at the time it was also illegal in germany and you can't generalize, but you can say "certain" social groups would rather associate 420 with hitler and others with cannabis and he made this difference very clear here
6⃣I don't think 'finger raises' exists in English. In German, it literally means to complain and criticize something, and in this context, it even means to be an extreme nitpicker.
7⃣"Diggah" is a colloquial term in German, similar to "bro" in English, used to signal friendly connection. It comes from a word-transforming process (metathesis) of the german term of fat.
that's why he calls him "Dünner" because he derives it from the word "dünn", which means thin/slender/skinny.
8⃣All three names should be pretty easy to explain here: Miami Yacine is a rapper, the Charlie Harper line is self-explanatory; anyone who doesn't know 'Two and a Half Men' has missed out what in your life, and not everyone knows Carlos Valderrama, but a quick Google search will show you right away what he means, he's a soccer player with an extremely modern hairstyle, haha.
9⃣Alice Schwarzer is a well-known feminist and journalist in Germany, recognized for her advocacy for women's rights. Therefore, it logically follows that she does a lot for the 'women's movement.' In contrast, Noir is portrayed as doing 'women's movements,' referring to movements associated with women. This implies that Fourseven is dissing him as being feminine, which contradicts his toxic masculine macho image. This works as a play on words because in German, 'Frauenbewegungen' can mean both 'women moves' and 'women's movement.
1⃣0⃣In English, the term "brown-nosing" refers to someone who is excessively flattering or ingratiating themselves to someone in a position of power, similar to how "sucking up" is often used. In German, the phrase "bei jemandem lutschen" conveys the same idea of being obsequious or sycophantic. Both expressions describe the act of being overly submissive or flattering to gain favor. I didn't know if that's what they say in English too.
1⃣1⃣Noir is under contract with Felix, who is Kollegah, a major German rapper - one of the biggest German rappers of all time. Noir hasn’t battled yet and didn't have to do anything except ask his label boss. Both Noir's and Kollegah's names are far bigger than battle rap itself. While Noir is a joke compared to Kollegah, he still got the battle simply because he’s a big name, not because of his rap skills and the battle was also advertised in advance with the fact that "a rapper from Kollegah's label will be battling here".
1⃣2⃣JBG3 is an album series by the rappers Kollegah and Farid Bang. Farid Bang will also become important later. In this album they do nothing but diss rappers. For various reasons, including autotune rappers in general, they were criticized and dissed. So it is clear that they were against the autotune trend at the time.
1⃣3⃣as already mentioned, Farid Bang and Kollegah have already done many projects and are even good friends, but both are not on the same label and both have their own label, whereby one must clearly say that while Kollegah runs a very big label, but just because an artist is one of the biggest of his time, the label definitivly is not one of the 5 biggest and at most 10 biggest (i woudl say not top 10, more borderline top 10), while Farid's label is the biggest of all time in germany or in the worst case the 3rd biggest german rap label.
1⃣4⃣name of the label, by Kollegah
1⃣5⃣Banger Musik is the name of Farid's label. Schalke 04 is a German soccer club that is known for more failure than success, so the club's biggest historical event is a defeat where they almost became champions, but didn't make it. Schalke is actually one of the biggest soccer clubs in Germany, but that without really many titles and is more due to the large fanbase AND CURRENTLY: the line is even tougher, as the club is currently even playing in the second league in 2024
1⃣6⃣very important to the context, at that time, there was a controversy and scandal where a fan stormed onto kollegah's stage during a performance and kollegah kicked and punched him and even played quite extremely.
1⃣7⃣no great significance, i have once again translated it literally here. “This bird” in German means something like: this strange person
1⃣8⃣Yarambo (Clep's opponent) is known for completely crossing moral boundaries and because Clep is also starting to be in the gray area, he mentions it there
1⃣9⃣The line “Nobody has any intention of fucking your mother” is a play on the famous quote by former East German leader Erich Honecker, “Niemand hat die Absicht, eine Mauer zu errichten” (“Nobody has the intention of building a wall”). This original quote was delivered with a similar tone of defiance and certainty, which adds a layer of irony and humor to the punchline. the line would be quite amusing, but it is even more amusing and enemy-related because the enemy comes from the "east of Germany", i.e. where the GDR used to be
      2⃣0⃣and here it continues.
a "German prejudice" that people from the east and the former GDR have is that they are all supposed to practice incest, and Kid Soilder uses this as a target here. Of course, it is not a prejudice that should be taken seriously and is meant humorously here. I would make the following comparison: it is like saying that foreigners eat the pets of our locals, but unfortunately there is one republican idiot who actually believes that.

2⃣1⃣In German culture, siblings don't often refer to each other as “bruderherz” (brother dear) or “schwesterherz” (sister dear), except when they are very young and have a particularly sweet and innocent relationship.
In this context, the phrase “the women you sleep with call you ‘bruderherz’” plays on the theme of incest. it's just about making fun of the quote and the only women he would sleep with would be family members, you can claim and criticize that using Bruderherz here is a bit "reach"-like, but actually it's completely within the scope and okay
2⃣2⃣the opponent Craze is known to be very nice and never really politically incorrect, or at least he tries to be
and btw “do you think so?” was said by Yarambo in dialect, so it's a bit shorter and funnier
2⃣3⃣here Yarambo has 2 very funny world cup references, which is very amusing because Craze publicly said that everyone who watches the world cup is an asshole
the one-love bandage just goes up to the upper arm and the move with the hand is supposed to be a reference to the gesture of the german national team.
2⃣4⃣alman, actually only means 'german or a German'. it is never used in the german language except in a stereotypical context. You can compare it to the n-word, NOT IN THE SENSE OF HOW SCARY THE WORD IS, but in the sense that it stereotypically categorizes people, in this case white-skinned Germans who behave “typically german”. It is and can also be used as a diss and negative insult, but it's not that bad at the moment, more comparable to “you idiot”
“oldi” is a female insult, in german written ‘Alte’ very disrespectful towards women, which morphologically integrates the word ‘alt’ and refers to the woman as ‘alt’ without giving this semantic meaning. So “oldi” does not mean that the woman is old, but the word for old is used and is ultimately comparable to “chick”, which is also often used for women.
2⃣5⃣Philipp Lahm is the best right-back in soccer of all time and is actually very nice and friendly and fair. at some point there were rumors that he could be gay, but he denied, not only once, that he was gay, but you have to say once he didn't react so great, not in the homophobic sense, but also not in the most credible way, just a little over it, but also not so that you can say he's safe gay, he's also married and he wasn't unbelievable, he was just too generic and you know the internet, if there's just the slightest suspicion, then you make jokes out of it.
2⃣6⃣Oli Kahn, also known as Oliver Kahn, is the second-best German goalkeeper of all time and one of the best goalkeepers ever. He is clearly the craziest, most aggressive (thousand adjectives that denote danger) goalkeeper of all time in football, and there are countless anecdotes about the things he has done.
2⃣7⃣I would like to point out here that in German you can say, instead of "this guy or this dude": "this kid" - of all ssynic can do this because he feels older than any battle rapper
I hope I don't have to explain the line with the Vatican to anyone.
2⃣8⃣here a children's song is parodied, it is already hard and funny when he calls ssynic a monkey and the fact that such a "man" just starts singing makes it even funnier
"Wer hat die Kokosnuss geklaut?" by "Sternschnuppe"
2⃣9⃣Drob Dynamik had a Hat-trick before the battle, meaning 3 wins in a row, meaning battle rap tournaments won.
Laas also said "wait, wait" a lot that evening because he was so good that the crowd cheered constantly. That's why he said beforehand, please don't interrupt, because after that comes a huge chain of rhymes that all rhyme with the word "Hat-trick", plus content, plus he even says in the chain of rhymes, "I'll show you how to destroy a Hat-trick winner using only the word Hat-trick, technically."
3⃣0⃣I only included the line because of the context, it's a really bad bad bar and badly packaged. The line is shit and bad. I just wanted to mention it and distance myself from it in order to call it "good" haha, but it's still important to the "skin-coloured context" that brain damage builds up with the line, because what comes after it is one of the best lines ever
3⃣1⃣The wordplay involves a double meaning based on the name "Eva Braun," who was Adolf Hitler's long-time partner. The surname "Braun" can be translated as "brown" and if we all descend from black people, i.e. Africans, then Eva was from Adam and Eve, from the Bible, so the first people, were also brown. So the two layers works perfectly with Eva Brown and also Eva and Adam and Eva.

3⃣2⃣allusion to the name of his opponent
and a reference to... I think the first Pirates of the Caribbean movies, where the legendary quote "but you have heard of me!" came from Captain Jack Sparrow, who he represents in this respect, yes
3⃣3⃣I hope I don't have to explain the Mario Kart line to anyone, haha
Carnival is a weird German festival where you dress up.
3⃣4⃣so obviously why the banana throwing thing is funny, what i still don't know is what yarambo is saying, it sounds like “kamällä” or something, i don't know if that's the sound in mario kart or something, but i have no idea, if anyone knows, then comment, then correct and paste it here, because what he's saying i don't understand
3⃣5⃣the german interjection for pain is: “aua”
i don't know what it's like in english, it seems to me that you would rather say: ouch, owt
3⃣6⃣Ssynic's opponent Lyrcio's real name is Joshi and his wife is Sandy
3⃣7⃣To understand the genius and structure of the line, you would need to be a native speaker, but I’ll try to explain it anyway. The rhyme scheme ends in a way that makes it clear that there are rhymes coming that rhyme with 'fucked,' and the last line is structured so that, in contrast to my translation, the word 'fucked' naturally comes last. Ssynic deliberately leaves it out for comedic effect, implying: ‘OMG, you’ve never had sex with anyone else,’ while humorously censoring the word itself. Plus, of course, in the context of battle rap, it’s a diss if you’ve only had sex with one person, haha
3⃣8⃣Jumbo Schreiner is a German television presenter, entertainer, and food expert. His main focus is on the subject of food, and he is recognized as a culinary expert in the German media landscape. Jumbo is known for his robust stature and his ability to consume large amounts of food. He has made a name for himself by showcasing, tasting, and reviewing various foods and dishes in his shows. He shares his knowledge about different cooking techniques, culinary trends, and restaurants, all while infusing his unique sense of humor. Thus, Jumbo Schreiner is not only an entertainer but also a passionate ambassador for good food and culinary delights - thanks to chatgpt.
3⃣9⃣as already mentioned with "6", I don't know if finger means anything in this metaphorical context, the moral pointing finger is just a metaphor for "6". Raising a finger means something like: criticizing and the moral pointing finger: is to say the direction from which the criticism comes. H ere he uses this conventional metaphor and takes it literally, because when Hansen raises his fingers, his fingers are so big that they can be confused with a baseball bat.
4⃣0⃣overlap is an insult in German means something like extreme looser
4⃣1⃣in the line he describes what Cashis looks like (very accurately) and this Ross Antony is a well-known German person, but not really known for positive things and is more of a second-rate celebrity - more meme then star
4⃣2⃣Jonny is the one in the middle; he’s the host and former moderator of Rap am Mittwoch (I can mention now that he’s Jewish, as there will be a line about that later). From our perspective, to his left is Tierstar, who should be recognizable by now, and to his left is DJ Pete, the DJ for the freestyle tournaments and so on.
4⃣3⃣Ssynic’s nickname is Mr. Disrespectful (Mr. Respektlos), and one of his many catchphrases is: ‘I’m disrespectful,’ after which he says absurdly funny and disrespectful things.
4⃣4⃣I explain everything here 99% of the time, but anyone who has seen Django Unchained will understand the line. And those who haven't seen Django Unchained are missing out on a beautiful experience in life, so I recommend watching the film first ;)
4⃣5⃣Merlin is the name of a battle rapper and also the founder of BRB, the Battle Rap League where this battle is taking place.
4⃣6⃣The words 'tough/difficult' and 'heavy' can both be translated as 'schwer' in German, which has a double meaning. It can refer to both weight and level of difficulty.
4⃣7⃣Americans and other native English speakers should understand this because 'reach' is also often used in the American rap scene, though there it means stretching a word or wordplay that clearly doesn’t work. In any case, Geuner physically can’t reach his butt when wiping, just as he can’t keep up with the punchline density of Fourseven and Eynak due to his lack of rap skills. I just wanted to mention for those who don't speak English well (wait, I'm one of them too D:).

4⃣8⃣In the line, "I said in my last battle that I'm now fishing for the big fish," the phrase "fishing for the big fish" is a metaphor for going after bigger and more challenging opponents or opportunities in battle rap. The punchline follows up with, "What part of 'big' didn't you understand?" This is a clever play on words, as "big" not only refers to the size of the opponents he intends to face but can also imply the significance or importance of the challenge.
Foreigners might be confused by all of this, because in German, similar to "heavy/difficult", there is a clear difference here. Germans don't really differentiate between "big and tall", you can say "groß" in German and so tall can mean both big and in the right context, groß also means greatness, similar to English
4⃣9⃣Take you apart means in German, of course, what it literally means, so take you apart. Thus, the wordplay with fine motor skills is clear, and take you apart can also mean I destroy you, I completely finish you off, and so on.
5⃣0⃣In German, there’s the phrase 'blut geleckt haben' (to have licked blood). I’m not sure if there’s an equivalent in America, but it means to be motivated or to suddenly find something appealing. However, here Sisyphus twists that and says he's licking blood, but not because of battle rap; he’s literally licking blood because he’s so small that he could stand and lick a woman’s pussy.
5⃣1⃣The number six, or 6, and sex, referring to sexual intercourse, are not spelled the same in German-'sechs' and 'sex'-but they are pronounced the same. This creates an obvious double meaning. It’s actually a bit embarrassing to make a pun out of it these days, but Falki cleverly uses it against Robscure, saying that he’s so lonely that when he hears '6,' he only sees the number in it because 'sex' is absurd for him and can only be a number.
5⃣2⃣In German, 'Fünfer' refers to five euros, and when mentioned, it specifically means the 5-euro bill, which is the smallest denomination in Germany.
some conversions for you - Status: September 2024
      5 Euro ~ 5,30 USD
      5 Euro ~ 4,60 GBP
      5 Euro ~ 4,80 CHF
      5 Euro ~ 7,20 CAD
      5 Euro ~ 750 JPY
      5 Euro ~ 8,20 AUD
      5 Euro ~ 440 INR
      5 Euro ~ 130 TRY
      5 Euro ~ 7,00 KRW
      5 Euro ~ 180 THB
      5 Euro ~ 150 SKK
5⃣3⃣I'm being honest; with Friedman, he could mean several people. I don't know exactly who he means now, so we can correct that together, but he’s just part of the setup. Much more important is the mention of Ben Salomo. I already mentioned earlier that Ben Salomo is Jewish, and I brought it up so no one has to look it up now. This makes the line so funny because, of course, Ben Salomo would be the last person to do that.
5⃣4⃣The "red-light district" refers to an area in a city where various forms of adult entertainment are concentrated, including sex work, strip clubs, and adult shops. These districts often have a distinct reputation and can be characterized by the presence of illuminated red lights, which traditionally signify that the area is associated with sexual services.
5⃣5⃣In German, the word for G-spot is very similar, except that we use 'Punkt'/point instead of 'spot,' so the wordplay between 'Punkt' and 'Komma' is obviously what makes it funny
5⃣6⃣The words "Wahl" (election) and "Wal" (whale) are written differently in German, but they are pronounced exactly the same. So, Bong Teggy says that North Korea finally has something to do with "Wahlen" (elections), because North Korea, being a dictatorship, doesn’t have elections. At the same time, he calls T-Way a "Wal" (whale) because T-Way is fat, yet is still part of "Team North Korea." This explains the wordplay.

5⃣7⃣The rapper Dizaster actually punched another rapper in the face, namely Math Hoffa.
5⃣8⃣I hope i don't have to explain the puns, i'll just say: google Shia LaBeouf and Nike and you'll understand
5⃣9⃣for this you must know the battle Tierstar against Dizastar, which was also in Germany but in English (you can do that in berlin, the crowed actually understands english)
24:04 is the referenced line and Ssynic not only parodies it, it's probably even more fierce and legendary, because it's simply a nazi line and that's done in germany of all places and that together with this self-irony, it's legendary
6⃣0⃣The time running away’ is a too literal translation. It’s like ‘time is flying’ or ‘time is slipping away.’ These expressions convey the feeling that time is passing quickly. In this case, it means that for MC Geuner, there is little time left until he dies because of his unhealthy body. Thus, he plays with the idea of ‘time running away from him’ and also the ‘kids running away from him,’ which implies an accusation of being a pedophile or suggests that he has very strange, weirdo tendencies.
6⃣1⃣The premise of the angle is that Davie Jones is not consistent, and that's actually a very nice way to put it. He has choked very often and forgotten his lines, stumbles frequently - this is a fact. Nevertheless, he has a high baseline level (which is why he appears so often in this video) because he is unique, even if we have to admit that he has often messed up.
6⃣2⃣In the battle, it was already mentioned that Ssynic's father had passed away, and what we now know in retrospect is that the father was never really around, and the mother raised him alone.
6⃣3⃣The A-Junioren-Bundesliga (also known as A-Jugend-Bundesliga or U19-Bundesliga) was the highest German football league for A-Junioren (U19), for players under the age of 19. I meant that he played for Fortuna Düsseldorf, and as far as I know...
6⃣4⃣The line with cinema is obvious and clear in context. It’s meant to emphasize how much Ssynic has already experienced, while Bong Teggy hasn’t. To give more context: at this point, Ssynic is a man over 30 who has been through a lot, and Bong Teggy is just a student. On top of that, Bong Teggy represents the typical white-privileged German who hasn't had to go through the struggles of someone from a lower class. In battle rap, he comes across as the funny, nice guy, not really aggressive, but more on the silly side. Meanwhile, Ssynic, throughout several rounds, has subtly implied that Bong Teggy is more of a mainstream, characterless battle rapper.
6⃣5⃣If someone says "shift in Blaumann," it means they worked in overalls or coveralls, typically doing manual or physical labor. It’s a metaphor for blue-collar work, suggesting that the person was engaged in hands-on tasks, often in trades or industries like construction or mechanics.
6⃣6⃣P-Zak is known for being a real MC; we have to admit that back then, he was kind of a top-tier or borderline top-tier rapper. However, from today's perspective, calling him the 'best spitter' feels like a bit of a stretch, although he didn’t exactly use the word 'best'-'great' could fit better. But that’s not the main point. P-Zak is known for having very controversial content and for incorporating his family tragedies into his battles, which Bong Teggy criticized in the battle between Bong Teggy and P-Zak.
6⃣7⃣Concept rounds are rounds that revolve around a single theme. To be honest, I find them quite uninspired, making them pretty monotonous unless the theme is so amazing and well-executed that it stays interesting, like in this specific round. The unfortunate thing is that Robscure has one of the worst catchphrases where he says, 'Oh, then I’ll turn this into a complete concept round.' It's not a big deal, but it’s just part of his style.
6⃣8⃣RAM = Rap am Mittwoch, "Rap am Mittwoch" was a former battle rap league that featured freestyle tournaments as well as acapella matches.
6⃣9⃣ARTE is a European public service channel dedicated to culture.
7⃣0⃣If the sentence doesn't sound too harsh, please imagine that "Moderator" is a feminine word, since in German, there are "declensions," and we gender, meaning we also declense according to gender.
7⃣1⃣MAYhem is a battle rap event
7⃣2⃣DLTTLY - Don't Let the Label Label You! - ss one of the biggest German battle rap leagues (and currently the highest quality, and that's quite clear and indisputable).
7⃣3⃣The wordplay is as follows: 'hitting on girls' can be interpreted ambiguously in German, meaning both flirting and, phonetically, it sounds like 'Excavator-doing,' referring to a verb that describes 'doing excavator things.' This is combined with 'kept,' which stands for distance but is also phrased ambiguously in German, meaning both distance and metaphorically 'taking the shovel,' which is a scoop, and is, in turn, part of a construction site like the excavator. He uses this ambiguous sentence construction skillfully, playing with it without distorting the content. It’s typical of Robscure, as he likes to showcase his 'pen game.'
7⃣4⃣BMCL = BATTLEMANIA CHAMPIONSLEAGUE, "tey used to call it that back when 'RAM' had acapella battles.3 vs. 3 rounds, acapella on stage, at the league 'Rap am Mittwoch.
