This was a 10/10 tutorial. Super clear, easy to follow.. and actually fun! I have a question: with the Open AI/Chat GPT responses, how do you format the response so that the 4 sentences are in 4 paragraphs that are spaced and easier to read? Of course, this could be done in Gmail, but looking to format it in the Scenario. Cheers!
In this context, if I understand correctly, you can leverage it as a fixed text for whatever content will be found in every email. Furthermore, for formatting the outputs, Gmail's body can understand HTML. Therefore, when prompting ChatGPT, ask for the output to be in HTML.
I still dont understand. Where is the ChatGPT interface ? I mean, where's the actual data of the email are sent ? Is it will appear in the chat box in the ChatGPT ?
Thanks for all the great tutorials. Do you know if Make allows you to test a single step in a way that's similar to Zapier where that step runs using the data from the previous steps? At 22:23 I see you manually pasted in the data but this is very limiting because the module I'm testing is a GPT prompt completion that contains variable data from the trigger inside the prompt along with other variable outputs from previous GPT steps. Pasting in the prompt wouldn't work to actually test the step. In Zapier you test using records which is so much better. Is this possible in Make?
From my understanding, you cannot do what you described in Make, although there may be a workaround that I am not aware of.
@@webcafeai Gotcha. I was also wondering if you know how to preserve the spacing of GPT outputs when I push it onto an email or google doc? I tried throwing around the full ouput but that doesn't preserve the spacing between paragraphs. Would prefer not to prompt it use HTML because it can be unreliable and often interferes with the HTML I already set up to be used in the google doc.

I would say that learning both platforms can be very beneficial. I see the utilization of Make in the context of building out flows in your backend as beneficial due to the associated cost; in addition, you will learn more about the intricacies of API calls. On the other hand, Zapier offers a larger opportunity when building out flows for clients, along with all their additional features. If I had to choose one, it would still be Zapier!

One possible issue could be that you need to have a Google Workspace account in order to access the Gmail API.
No, you can do it with any gmail account as I did. It just requires that you connect your gmail using OAuth 2.0 to Access Google APIs. It's explained when you try and connect the Google Account within Make. In this tutorial Corbin sent the draft to "ALL MAIL" folder. That's where your draft email will be.@@webcafeai

Right now, ChatGPT can only read metadata found in images. In the future, more advanced models may be able to actually interpret the image.

ChatGPT Plus and the OpenAI API are two separate products offered by OpenAI. In order to make automations work, you will need to generate a secret key in your OpenAI dashboard and integrate it this way.
