I had a 3-way installed in my 2004 Yukon Denali back in 2008, in which I still have and still drive as my daily. Tweeters are in the pillars and a pair 5.25" and 6.5" are mounted on custom cut MDF in the doors in the factory Bose Location. My installer didn't know better back then either because the wood is falling apart due a little water getting on them. They were done at Installations Unlimited in Union, NJ on Route 22. I don't believe they are there anymore. I started following you because I like you wiring rescue videos and the pride you take in your work. I was going to stop and have you check out my car, but because of Covid my business has forced me to move to Florida next week. I think I'm going attempt to put them in Custom Pods myself. Wish me luck and keep up the good work

Those aren't peg board. Those are carefully tuned ported baffles

    Good info! Quick question?
The bracket you made from Sentra, is it the entire piece or do you glue some ABS for the mounting layer.

We add a 1/2 ring on the face to mount the speaker to .

Carlos, I tried calling your shop. I couldn't get through at all. I need my system on my Roadglide tuned. I have 2 Diamond 4v2 600 Amps with 6 Hertz speakers and Audison tweeters and a DSR1. I spent alot of money on it. I'm not getting the full potential out of it. I'm sure of it. The installer wont take care of it now that he took my money. There's bikes out there with half of what I have and they sound louder,clearer..

Peg board, is tempered masonite, which is water proof.

Sorry but you are 100 percent wrong
Tempered Masonite is water resistant on the face because it is laminated , coated and baked . Once you cut it or put a screw through it you brake that water resistant seal . Also only one side is coated ( front side of the peg board ) the rear side was facing the inside of the door . It got wet and completely fell apart. Even if the peg board was water proof , the holes allow the back wave of the speaker to mix with the front wave and cause cancellation!!!!!! Plus it’s too thin ( speaker was just bouncing around when the door was slammed )
