She is the wrong for doing so, but he also should have known it makes her more upset when he brushes it off. I had an almost similar situation with a girlfriend of mine 4 years ago, wanted me to always feel sorry for her for every little issue she had, but I ended it because she was just too high maintenance and wanted to just be a gold digger anyways. I haven't had any luck being in a relationship where it didn't feel like I am basically paying for sex.
Bottom line is though he should have made it clear a lot sooner about the marriage situation, whether he never has any plans on marrying her, or given her a realistic time frame.. The answer of maybe... one day... let's get to know each other better first, kept giving her the wrong idea

Does anyone remember when Trish was pressuring Jason to date her? Jason listed off all the reasons why he didn't want to get in a serious relationship . He wants to remain autonomous and be able to do what he would like for a change. If Jason marries Trisha, then he will do everything she wants. Plus he will get worn down by her constant demands and insecurities. She spends her money on frivolous things and doesn't listen to Jason's concerns about saving either. Trish could own a beautiful home paid off by now if she had made that a priority. But their priorities are way different. Jason needs space, quiet time, and family time with his children. He doesn't want or need to get married because he has already has two beautiful children. I don't think his previous wife was nearly so needy, clingy or cringy. (Edited typo)

She's trying to bring him down because she can't be the best version of herself. I don't get why she's getting into a relationship when she clearly can't handle her own life. When I was at the bottom of mine, I told my close ones that I loved them but that I needed time alone to get back up because I didn't want to bring so much negativity, I would never say such toxic things as her but I'd always be feeling down and not myself so I needed space to rebuild myself. When I did, they welcomed me back with open arms. Maybe she should do the same, take time for herself to figure her all of her shit out and if it's meant to be, they'll get back together.

I'm Trishas fan first and foremost, but girl... stop manipulating the situation to make him feel bad. Hes right. He does deserve to have a time in his life where he gets what he wants. I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years. We moved in together after 2.5 years!!! Not 8 months. Sometimes distance makes the heart grow fonder. It's ok to be alone. Figure yourself out. Be alone with your thoughts. You can be together in a committed relationship without getting married and living together and having kids. After 5 years, my boyfriend proposed, and the wait was so incredibly worth it.

well i'm currently seeing a mother with 2 kids, I like it because it has been a 50/50 relationship so far, and I feel like she is less likely to cheat on me because she has kids involved. As a long time viewer, I know it'll probably never happen but I wish Trish would seriously get help. Instead of putting money toward more bags, cars, and clothes she could see some of the best therapists in L.A. I agree that Jason shouldn’t be in a relationship with trisha anymore, and that she’s so far in the wrong in all of this, but as someone who is bipolar, please don’t just claim so and so is bipolar because they’re cruel, manipulative, and erratic. Also, Jason has talked about his diagnosis as being bipolar in the past, and he doesn’t act the way that Trisha does. It simply means that one goes through periods of depression and mania (really low lows and really high highs). It’s doesn’t make someone bad.

Meh, I see where she is coming from, although she needs to control her mouth. She is being VERY manipulative and passive agressive. In her defense though, it is odd that after 8 months they still haven't moved in together. Thats bizarre. First off you need to know if you can live with your SO, its important. If not then you are just wasting your time. Im not saying to move in after 1 week, but 8 months is def more than enough time. You shouldn't need to work through things to move in because problems will always be there and you need to know if you can work through those problems while living together. 8 months isn't that long honestly, and considering the amount they "break up" and fight I can see not wanting to jump to living together, it just gets more messy and doesn't fix anything, living together is something that good healthy relationships sometimes struggle with, and so if they already go into it rocky then its going to be 10 times worse. I think they both have said enough to know that they have vastily different wants and needs, and have majorly different expectations for their now and future, thats not really something you can work through, not wanting to get married and have kids doesn't work with someone who wants to get married and have kids, its not fair to either of them and one of them ends up bitter and resentful. I think she thinks moving in together will fix it all and make it so he cant leave so easily, but if someone wants to leave... let them, no one should want to be with someone they have to CONVINCE to stay with them.

He probably sees marriage as overrated but she hasn't experienced it so the yearning is still there. I have been in Trisha's shoes, dated someone much older that's already had a marriage and kids. Even after 7 years he didn't talk of marriage, our son's birth didn't seem exciting to him, like it how it did to me, because he already experienced that in his life. I can say Jason I was in a relationship similar to the one you're in with Trisha. I'm only 23 and I may not have a lot of expierence, but in one of my relationships I thought I was with a girl who was the answer to everything. I didnt know what I did to deserve her and I wasnt on her level, she was gorgeous and sweet and so smart. But after some time she began to show her real colors, didnt want me to do things that made me happy or Bring me joy if it didnt involve her directly. She pretended to always want the best for me but I'm reality she really wanted to control me. I dealt with this for almost 3 years thinking I was happy when I wasnt and I could tell she wasnt happy either. We would break up on and off and make up so quick it was like nothing happened. Then there was this one time where she decided she wanted me to go to her house and I said no because I just started my new job and I had work that day and I knew if I went to her house, I would either be late or not go. And I could not risk that, so she broke up with me. But when she called that night to make up, I told her no. It hurt but it felt so good at the same time. She screamed at me, called me names, cried, hung up, called back, apologized and this cycle went on for a few hours until I just stopped answering. The next day she was in a relationship with another guy who proved that I was right about her not being happy that she could find a guy so fast. She then told me 2 days later that they had sex and that they were together now even though I didnt even attempt to contact her. To this day it has been the best decision I ever made. It's been 5 years and I have never been happier. While I may not have a gf at the moment have 2 friends that I can count on for anything and I just started my dream job in sales. Sorry for the long story but the morale is, you have to do what's best for both of you, especially you. You have kids to help raise and great friends that will have your back through it all. Dont give up your happiness for someone you hope is the love of your life. No disrespect to trisha at all because she also deserves to be happy, even if it's not with you. I'm glad you stood up for yourself and got out of that toxic relationship. A lot of people have trouble opening their eyes enough to see this and act on it. I hope Jason will be able to make the right choice as well.
I like how you mention she deserves it as well. Despite of her mental issues, Jason is not an easy standard partner to live with (his commitment to the tween vlogs quad, not financially stable, quite the influence from his ex wife). She should be with someone who is ready to settle down. Which will mean, working on herself and looking in a totally different pond of men.
