@@EppsCreations I never thought I would ever want to do a pepper mill since they seemed so “ ho hum” but yours was truly impressive, your client should give a big tip, above and beyond.
@@trurex007lee7 that has always been my thoughts. Kinda like small stuff. Not much room to give “your touch” to. Though making them this way vs all wood is much more expensive. So it’s kinda hard to throw that price out there for a pepper mill.
hello friends greetings healthy and successful always. thank you for sharing knowledge and always faithfully watching your latest stuff I like your ideas
I used the amazing clear on this one. I used about 2L on this pour. The burl had a ton of open space. But the clear slow pot life is 12 mins vs the amazing clear @ 30 mins.
It’s very tedious! I’ve never been a fan of the paste. Even tried to make some and never could get one that you could get like glass all the way. So that’s why I do it by hand. Plus viscosity at 2000 grit needs to be slow motion
@@EppsCreations I have to say...looking at resin projects where the project is only done with dry sanding and paste...not a fan here either. I know many just do that because it's easier and a couple said they are just too lazy to do a wet sand. Two got super mad at me for even suggesting their projects would look better wet sanded. I unsubscribed from their channel because they basically just told me off. But on the other hand, my mom always said if you are going to do something...do it right.

Beautiful piece! What was the total volume of your pour? How long is the clear slow open? Thanks

Awesome job, man. 👏. What was the silvery mica you used?
Thanks! It was the eye candy icicle.
I don't think enough turners wet sand. What a difference though.

@@EppsCreations my dad was an aerial photographer and when he used a dark room and even then said the fumes were horrible.
@@morgancalvi6675 well that’s some peoples style and it’s not a bad finish. Especially when used on wood.
