This has gotta be the best company that helps music production. Excellent course, Explained simply and videos that sound like clickbait but aren't 😁

I really REALLY hope that you are practicing what you are preaching AND not using any of the instruments because EVERYTHING I am hearing here sounds like it was recorded in 1990.

"refer in the past as motif???" dude put your sh!@##$ together and get a decent music theory training. A motif is a well-known term in the music realm... Well, maybe not!!! 3..2..1 unfollowing now!!!!

Relax. There is such a thing as a 'rhythmic motif' which is what this video is about. He might have incorrectly used the more general term, but it's not the end of the world

In the terms of electronic music I've found people don't really talk about 'motif's' very often. I was using the word to try help explain a similar concept which I was teaching - its less so about the particular words and more about the concept. Music theory terms are quite definitive which I was trying to avoid as this isn't a music theory lesson. Hope this makes sense

Sometimes simpler, non-formal explanations are better for beginner audiences, dude.
