Excellent! It would be a real pleasure to study under you, Sensei!
thank you for sharing. enjoyed very much. i will be taking the time to try to learn from this in the future.
This maneuver must be old, because in 4:17, performing yoko-chiburi may hit a wall or any obstacle on your right side. "Ryozume" means "boxed-in on both sides". Imagine that you are in a narrow corridor.
After kirioroshi (downward cut), place your left hand to your hip and at the same time
bend your right wrist upward, raise the kissaki a few inches while raising the tsuka enough to swing it from the inside to the outside of your right leg. In short it is like forming an inverted "V".
鍔鳴り
熟れているが、、斬る相手をしっかり見てない倒れた相手を見て残心、納刀後の間が無い。初心者ではないので更に高い所を求められる筈です。
Okuden Kata are for practitioners who are proven in talent and seriously advanced, yet this beginner has not demonstrated a single correct draw, combination, furi age, kirioroshi, nor Suwari he does not even qualify as a serious student only a mere novelist.
Sensei Noboru Kataoka is a 20th generation Menkyo Kaiden. Criticizing just reflects poorly on your
Budo and your teachers, I am sure your sensei would not agree with your comment, please ask him.
