Flew on same aircraft from Skiathos to Stansted 🤩
Really awesome video!
Good video
Love the landing...come on Jet2 get services going from London Southend I am sure you will have a market for them.
They won't
Nice 👍🏻 this didn’t seem to have any automatic Jet2 announcements, I wonder why?
For that we must all be thankful !
@@doveronefoxtrot4417 what do you mean?
charter flight thats why
Really nice video! Was the flight busy ?
Thanks, probably about 60-70% full I'd say
My flight number for Jet2 was also LS1455! 😮
I’m surprised a Jet2 737-800 can land and take off on Jersey’s short runway. I assume it has a short field performance package installed on that particular aircraft that day.
It surprised me too when I saw Jet2 did were doing this route, I believe this frame does have the SFP but I'm sure I've seen some land at JER that don't have it on FR24!
Absolutely not! I live here and have seen 757-200s and C17s land here the runway is like 5500 feet not that short
BA used to schedule a 757 daily during the 80's.
@@jude11117 5500 feet is considered short for a commercial airport runway, my local (Southend) is just over 6000 feet and that's considered short.
@@doveronefoxtrot4417 and early 200s with BA
RTO 3 plus reversers? That propably blows you out of your seat!
U realise British Airways flies to Jersey? Why fly on Jet2 from Stansted when British Airways from Heathrow is a much better option?
Yes I do realise this. I flew back to LHR with BA, and what makes you think BA to/from Heathrow is the better option? Stansted is a lot closer to me and Heathrow, easier to get to and in all fairness if the times were right I would have flown back to Stansted with Jet2. Neither is a bad option really, I certainly wouldn't say one is far better than the other but Jet2 did have the edge over BA.
