nothing, I repeat nothing compares to Ian Daniels' Tarot of Vampyres 🙂 💛 and... of course... Phantasmagoria ... Daniels knows his lore, his Tarot, his Qabalah and his mythology 😘 perhaps the reason he has only ever produced two decks (the other one being the "Faërie Enchantments Oracle" (independently produced) great comparison 😉you raised very interesting points so good to have you back
Without a doubt Ian’s decks is the winner for me. I prefer the colour scheme and the otherworldliness of the deck. Of course the plethora of symbolism also stands out in this deck. It keeps surprising me, even after so many years
The characters from The Fool show up in The Lovers and Death as well, and possibly a few others (Devil and Judgement maybe). The Sun is a great card…for the human that escaped the vampire! All the twos and tens in the minors are also connected.
I prefer the art in Ian Daniels deck, it's gothic and beautiful and the other deck is too modern. But maybe the perfect vampire deck for me is still to be found.
That six of scepters is supposed to be Jupiter in Leo but yeah, I don’t see the symbols either unless the pattern in his coat is kind of a take on them? But it’s not obvious like on the other cards.
Interesting - though I don't need any of these. The artwork is not something I would choose to read with over the decks I already have, and the useful parts of the guidebook information (the ones transferable to other decks, like numerology, astrology, tree of life etc.) is nothing that cannot be found in other ressources. Nevertheless I enjoyed watching this comparison. The six of wands btw. should be Jupiter in Leo. Couldn't find the symbols either... maybe they are hidden behind the cross and the panther 🤔.
Dear Sylvain, the symbols "hidden" in the three of scepters are sol (the sun symbol on the ship's sail andaries on top of the staff.

Oh... I should look into this one...

I agree!
Both beautiful decks Ian Daniels for me I own that deck the other is just a bit too much colour for me 😊

It drives me crazy!! 😅

Completely agree! They both ended up in my closet... 😓
