The statement of that lust traps a man in boyhood and that mindset is so profound. Be a man, such a loaded statement that really needs thought about and prayed on. Brothers in Christ, be a man, be Christ like, pray, pray the rosary, white knuckle it till you get this thing right!! And if/when you fall, ask our Lord for mercy and forgiveness and get to confession 🙏🏻 all glory to God
Wow! This was amazing to listen to men talk about something that, as a woman who had struggled with this topic in my marriage. I am now a widow of 6 years who's recently entered into a relationship with a Godly man. He sent this to me to learn more deeply something I've misunderstood as a "good Catholic girl". I prayed for God to send me someone to love who needs help from me to them get to heaven. I do believe he is sent from God and as we embark on this new journey and love for each other, that we will succeed in getting each other to heaven. God bless you all! 🙏

Guys I cannot thank you enough. I'm about halfway through the podcast but you have answered lots of questions that I've had. Ya'll are a gift from God. Like, I've been slowly discovering some of the stuff ya'll've been talking about on my own through giving up porn/masturbation, discerning what the Holy spirit is telling me V.S what the evil one is, but it's great to hear men like you affirm that reasoning. WE owe it to women to look at them with love and respect. WE truly do. It's our God-given duty. Thanks and God bless.
Love Not Lust
It’s hard as a 26 year old man who’s never had a girlfriend before to resist lust. I really want to have my own kids one day and I am exhausted of chronic singleness and isolation. I deeply long for procreation in marriage. Im active, I work, and I am well groomed, and have been told I am attractive. Im only 5’8 and I really don’t want to remain single for the rest of my life and Catholics have absolutely no compassion and understanding towards single catholics, especially single catholic men. I have a high sex drive that I want to save and share with my future wife, but Idk if she even exists. Im probably not ready for a relationship just yet but I fear even when I am ready for one, I won’t meet the right woman. Im really sad
Brother in Christ, pray the St.Andrews Novena from 30th Novena till 24th December.
From personal testimony this novena helped find a proposal for my sibling.

You sound like you are doing great! You are using your sexual drive to aim you toward preparing yourself for meeting your future wife. That's exactly what you should be doing. It will happen in God's time you can't change it. For me I met my woman through the intercession of St. Anne and St. Therese of Lisieux, praying novena to them and received signs. Keep your head up, Satan tries to knock you down.

@@luke9747 dating apps have only resulted in one mutually awkward date, pen pals, ghosting, and mutual sexting over snapchat. Thankfully it never escalated to premarital sex and idk how. I had a deep down fear and worried that I would ruin myself for my future wife by having premarital sex. Now I question whether my future wife even exists. I feel pressured to become a priest or religious clergy ONLY because I struggle with finding a woman and that somehow is a sign of a vocation and that I am “fighting it” but here I am burning with passion and I should marry. I keep asking God for signs and cant seem to find any or unless theyre not the signs I expected because everyone is pretty confident in me that I will find someone in “God’s timing and plan” I dont think the devil is making me chronically single

Bless you … it’s so difficult …and funny… they had it sussed in Anglican England …back in the 1600’s if not before… why do you think, in The Book of Common Prayer (which King James I has so much fun with The Puritans with) in the Marriage Ceremony the words The Man had to say were ‘With my Body I Thee Worship, and with All My Worldly Goods I Thee endow’. And the woman didn’t have to say that, She had to say… ‘I Obey’….. If you wife doesn’t want to make Love with you 24/7 … you’re doing something wrong…. with Respect and honouring your innocence….. by the way I studied Pope John Paul’s ‘Theology of the Body’… for many years, and his life…. he certainly had a purpose in his life….
I've heard in other Catholic commentaries that you cannot lust for your wife it's not possible is this true
False. St. Thomas Aquinas teaches that even having natural sexual intercourse with one’s wife can be mortally sinful depending on the husband’s disposition and purpose for having the encounter.

you guys speak of how looking at a woman and making actions with her in your mind as sinful - but isn't looking at he body parts even though beautiful still sinful ? - if i look at her breasts no thoughts to look and take pleasure isn't that sinful?

Maybe you're praying for the wrong thing. In my prayers, I ask God to send me and tell me what I need and want because He knows better than I. I also have a strong devotion to St Joseph who has seen me through many difficult times in my life. Never give up hope and ask St Joseph to pray for you! I'll pray for you as well! 🙏

“God’s timing”, “God’s plan”, “discernment”, “being called to”, are among the worst phrases Catholics have ever invented. Not to mention absurdly presumptuous on the part of the speaker. The kids these days might even call them “pure cope”. The sooner these phrases die, the better.
