Warlock mid ftw. I always preferred - patches ago - to max Fatal Bonds then Upheaval for AOE creep damage / imp spawning. The quicker the wave is decimated the more imps targeting enemy hero. Now? About to try Fatal Bonds and Shadow Word. Bonds first for its notable cooldown reduction, then Word since it now does AOE. Additionally, since the new Innate 'Eldritch Summoning' now has imps prioritize a hero that is Fatal Bonded, greater cooldown = more combos = more imps on hero. But if against a ranged hero (such as Sniper here) or even a melee not around their creeps, would use Shadow Word on Fatal Bonded creeps for AOE, + should erase wave then send potential golem wave onto enemy hero on top of already Bond damage. I have 0 MMR mind ye, but think it may have been to Purge's benefit to hold Bonds until Sniper is showing. In fact it almost seemed as if Sniper would stop farming and return to lane _after_ Bonds was used.
