I have a problem; the whole thing lags and the quality is horrible 😅
Okay what about the lag? I’ve tried this before without the obs and the lag/delay was horrible like extremely horrible
It will vary depending on your internet speeds and if you’re on WiFi or not. For me, I experienced no lag, but that’s because I have gigabit speeds and both my pc and ps5 are Ethernet not WiFi.
What is i don't have two monitors and hypothetically speaking what if i just have a laptop
Hey mate, i stream a lot from the PS5 and have trouble sometimes with the stream ending.
The main cause of this is from either my internet dropping out or the game glitching out which forces me to close application which causes the stream to end.
By using the remote play and OBS, will that prevent my trouble with my stream ending?
If at any time this happens will the stream still stay up and send us to the Home Screen?

To answer your question tho, yeah if you use OBS, your computer is in control of the stream. So unless your computer turns off or disconnects from the internet, it will stay streaming if your PS5 crashes or turns off. 👍🏾

I did this (you can see on my channel), but the bitrate is kinda bad.. is that the max bitrate or can i do something too improve that?
You can always increase your bitrate in your OBS settings. If you'r talking about the resolution of remote play, it all depends on your internet connection. You might be better off getting a capture card if you can.

@@AndyCornGamer lol not the best way to stream in general. It the best way to stream without a capture card using OBS. I say this in the opening of the video. I always recommend to get a card if you can. But if not, don’t let it stop you from giving this a try.

the controller doesnt work im confused is it supposed to work for the computer or ps5? it just ends share play when i try and turn on my controller and no usb is working its just the orange light. only the most important step to skip young man

Close out of OBS and reopen it after you have remote play open. It won’t show up if you try to add it after OBS is open 😅

The PS Remote Play is so junk. It lags every single time and its so infuriating.

unfortunately i can only go up to 720p on remote play even though i have 1gig internet lol remote play sucks lmao
also before you say its because wifi signal my pc and ps5 is hardwired
I did this, but no one can hear my party chat audio. Not unless I did something wrong. 😂 But how can I get the party chat audio heard?
Got to your audio settings and push your party chat through HDMI rather than your headphones. That should get it to work. Just switch it from headphones to HDMI
