I switched from affected to independent and that was a game changer for me. I like my weapon to zoom in to a x2ish zoom with no ADS penalty (I play a lot of groundwar, RIP my precious BF4). Then if say I'm playing a CQB style of map or playstyle I swap back to affected so I can keep that see everything view. I'll probably fiddle with it some more though. Right now I think I'm on 110 FOV.
People say “it’s hard to see players now” that’s because old cods had 65 FoV meaning it was easier to see enemies at a distance. Now CoD goes up to 120 which gives more peripheral vision but the trade off is players look much smaller at a distance.
Personally I played destiny on PS5 and we got 105 FOV so I got used to shooting smaller targets then when Vanguard came out last year I played on 120 affected and loved it

Fov is very taxing on Xbox graphic cards 100 is pushing it on Xbox one s 115 is ok in series s and 120 is fine on series x older consoles plus to much fov can cause lag act accordingly
I dont understand why these videos dont implement the resolution of your screen, if i am on 1920 x 1080 i get to go 120 fov, if you are on 4k or qhd you already Have more fov compared to lower resolution, so you wil probably not set it to 120.
@@the_full_english i explained it wrong srry , if you are on widescreen on the same fov as 1080p you already have more immage generated so more surrounding awareness without upping the fov.
@@tistakere5055 A game is not a movie, in that case you would be right, in a game it renders more pixels (view) when you are on a widescreen 3040 x 1600 im using for gaming, you can see more of the game left right (above below) compared to my 1920 x 1080p at the same fov.
My FoV is weird at the minute I’ve had to do 21:9 instead of 16:9. At 16:9 it seems like I’m stuck on the old 80fov even with setting it at 120. Real weird. Any advice.

As an XBOX player I knew I had an advantage using 80FOV at long range and wanted to keep some of that so I set mine to 100
I think 100 will be the sweet spot for most people!

For me it's 90. 100 feels off for me and my old Xbox makes it choppy, been playing 80 for 2 years and trust me 90 is a huge improvement for me lol

Yeah it happens when he fully dumps the mag. Every gun has a unique full dump reload animation

No you don’t really lose aim assist .. just the target is smaller than on a lower FOV so I wouldn’t say you lose AA you lose player size

The cone of vision on the minimap doesnt even match the FOV apart from the default 80.
I’m type 1 diabetic so I’m zoomed in due to diabetic vision 95 fov affected at narrow hope this helps fellow diabetics

Tcap u missed something hip fire bullet spread is smaller on tighter on higher fov and larger on lower fov
good point, that's another optical illusion. its the same, just fov makes it look tighter
