  • "A Summer Place" was written by Mack Discant and Max Steiner for the 1959 movie of the same name. It became a #1 hit in the version by Percy Faith, and many critics regard the song as the most definitive easy listening tune ever recorded. Here we present our rendition for guitar, electric piano, and strings.
