This is one of the rare occasions when Benedict actually shows how annoyed and underwhelmed he is by the interviewer (while maintaining a professional level of politeness, of course.) She has two very eloquent and intelligent guests on the stage and could not live up to them at all. I would have expected more given that this talk was hosted by the NYT.
OMG, lol, I so felt for Ben busting for the loo and having to sit and hold it while answering questions. I’d have peeed myself in that time. Even his bladder is super human!
The interviewer just kept blabbering questions without acknowledging their answers, with an utterly dead blank expression. Although well done on the stoicism, Keira and Benedict!
This interview was ruined by the incompetence of the interviewer. The flow of conversation wasn’t good. The interviewer seems like she couldn’t be bothered and wanted to be somewhere else instead. She didn’t do Keira justice. Even Benedict at times seems frustrated.
An intermission for a toilet break appears to be a must on such occasions - perhaps to the liking of both interviewees as well as the audience. That aside both Benedict and Keira paid rightful homage to the legacy of Alan Turing who the world through this telling can honor as a true hero and a person on so many levels we can greatly admire. Not forgetting in the least the very real and valuable role Joan Clarke played in his life and as a special person in her own right.
I definitely cannot wait to see the immitation the movie I don't know how it passed me by but I guess I have my own world that I'm dealing with in my own loss and Gain in terms of what I've learned and definitely going to follow through with more on the work with got me hooked to the beginning with I stumble on the internet listening to the Sherlock Holmes audiobook his voice fascinated me so I checked into the actor and I appreciate people of this caliber and I'm I recommend listening to that book it will transport you back to another time zone and again I'm just looking forward and going to try to play catch up on the other roles that he has portrayed and the readings and now the letter live
I really liked the Imitation Game. I'll throw this offer out into the blue for Mr. Cumberbatch. He asked in this video, "Why is not Alan Turing not a household name. The same is true for James Otis, who resigned as one of the chief legal representatives of the crown then in America, and rhen fought against that crown via The Writs of Assistance condemnation. Adams said if his speech, "There and then the child independence was born (of/from his 5 1/2 hour speech). Most important events in America's founding history (i.e., America as a distinctband separate nation) swirl around James Otis and his sister Mercy--to include the revolutionary structure (the Committees of Correspondence between the colonies) that was implimented out of the Warren home (Mercy married James Warren). That's the greatest unknown story in the 1700's. Just throw that out there if Ben should ever see this and again want to have a chance to revive a much ignored piece of vital historical knowledge.
He seemed quite a bit annoyed with the interviewer. I don't know why. She didn't ask anything different from any other interviwer (and he was very nice to all the others).
Maria Silva it sounds like it’s been a long week (or however long) of interviews and they mention that they are tired quite often so it’s probably mostly that. Although I think I would get quite angry too if I put as much effort into my answers as he does and the interviewer doesn’t appear to be listening then goes completely off topic by asking about the range of impressions. There was the part with Siri where she doesn’t apologise to either actor and doesn’t ask that people turn off their phones. I don’t want to sound rude but she is certainly not being very professional or particularly polite, but that’s just how I see it
The interviewer was wooden and clumsy. She made statements and assumptions instead of asking and listening. Seemed to be using a script that wasnt hers, and she wasnt familiar with. Basicly ill prepared, not very bright, and not paying attention.
sucks they make women work while pregnant. and all her charm isn't available here. she looks like an angry mom lol. and she's the most charming women in the world... what hope do the rest of you have? smh
Two intelligent, thoughtful, eloquent artists. Great listening to them

Both are very eloquent.

i don't know why the woman didn't stop the questions after that! that was embarrassing! jeez!
Natalie Zayas-Bazan I totally agree, he had to end it abruptly because she wasn’t listening.
Time stamp?
i think he did that for knightly. she was preggo and he was being very chivalrous

Alan is in the school book of my sun! When I saw it I started to cry of joy!
The interviewer just kept blabbering questions without acknowledging their answers, with an utterly dead blank expression. Although well done on the stoicism, Keira and Benedict!
She is so cute in that maternity dress wore it on the Ellen Show too 😍
Cuties both . Keira and Ben
Look at Benedict's socks. So unique and elegant... xD
Euhhh... yep
I thought it was a great interview, relaxed engaged, very good!

Poor ben. He looks so so tired
20:02 I feel proud of my compatriots
It is sad that the first TTT was 'helmed' by a weak interviewer.
He seemed quite a bit annoyed with the interviewer. I don't know why. She didn't ask anything different from any other interviwer (and he was very nice to all the others).

Benedict has a very monotone voice (probably why he was a good choice for Alan) I don’t think I’ve ever heard inflection.
The interviewer was wooden and clumsy. She made statements and assumptions instead of asking and listening. Seemed to be using a script that wasnt hers, and she wasnt familiar with. Basicly ill prepared, not very bright, and not paying attention.
Wat Sutiwanaram, chaleonkrung road
Let the man go to the toilet
The interviewer was poor
Turing's accomplishments were amazing but I doubt the current New York Times would have been as interested in him if he hadn't been gay.
