I have OSCE coming up and honestly I wouldn't know what to do if the patient starts talking to me like this. Anyways, great acting and simulation. Hopefully I can do it as good as this Dr. did.
They must be nicer in England bc I feel like the doctors passivity would really inflame the patients anger in the US. Curious on if there are cultural differences in reactions/responses.
Calm down. Doctors, nurses and other hospital staff deal with life and death situations on a daily basis. The training is hence rigorous and you have to study for a very long time to get to that position. Mistakes happen sometimes. It sucks, but all we can do is learn from them and make sure they are not repeated. If you start cancelling licence of every doctor/nurse that makes some inadvertent mistake, you'll be wasting human resource. There are already laws in place for criminal negligence if it happens. Also, this is not a real patient. No one here is hiding anyone. The pt is an actor. This video is for educational purposes.
People who make medical mistakes should be fired immediately and the patient should know who did this to them. Patient experienced side effects and doesn't now how long they will last or if ever stop.
The acting is amazing LOL this patient needs an oscar !!!
Just brilliant....! Agreed!
I absolutely agree!
You made me laugh so much
And the doctor too!
He’s actually an actor
I’d start crying at the very first word from this patient….he’s killing it😂
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
The patient definitely deserves an award.
Hello
1:35 Patient: "...is that what I'm hearing from you?"
Me: 👀
This man kills it everytime he's role-playing ❤
The doctor handled this difficult situation so well and smoothly!
Thanks for your comment!
It’s perfect
The patient is acting so well he would put the fear of God in anyone
"I will, don't you worry" - Gosh I felt a chill in my spine hahaha
Yeh ,I listened it twice and memorised for future hahah
Both the doctor and patient did a great job---
Thanks for your comment!

Hope it goes well!
@@quesmedqbank thanks!
How did it go? Mine is Friday
@@CuddlesgaloreCatshow did that go
Very realistic depiction of patient sadly
I have tinnitus and would be pretty pissed off if it developed after a gentamicin dosing error! This actor did a great job
I'd definitely fail a station like this his acting is too good!
I am sorry but i can't stop laughing 😃 this patient is like pro actor .he is too good 😊
Send your patient to Hollywood please, he has the talent to make it big in the big screen.
This patient actor is sooooo good. It's so realistic.
If it were my patient, i would cry 😢
subscribed due to patients acting... great actor 🙂
I understand why he wants the person who did the error to apologise directly.
love the patients acting.. respect ... ❤️
I'm so fed up with my OSCEs in a few days. It was nice to giggle at the actor demanding financial compensation 🤭
I cant stop loughing 😂😂😂 the patient really deserve oscar 😅😅
This is actually great!
Very nicely done guys. Awesome. Dr Sulaiman
Thanks for the comment!
I have handled one similar incident and it's very very difficult. Believe me real deal is much much difficult one word you miss or slipped game over
What an important important video.
Thanks!
This is a good scenario, well done.
Thanks for the comment!
Agba Actor🙌 He deserves a raise for his acting skills.
This patient is a great actor.
He really is!
Definetely very convincing..Hope it helps in my OSCE
" Yeah, I will, dont you worry". Dang it dude took that error personal.
This actor is so good, please give him his financial compensation😂
He really is fantastic!
Wow, the patient’s acting was so good, and he reminds me of uncle Vernon from HP somehow 😂
I hope to not find myself in this situation. It's scary
The patient was great 👍🏻
At some point, I thought the doctor will cry.
For car insurance, the insurer insists that u don't admit liability at the accident scene, I wonder whether it's not the same with medical insurance
Excellent acting , 👏
great role play but Dr. should have had the info on tinnitus prognosis prior to the discussion as the question was likely anticipated.
It's okay to not know everything. That's the point.
The patient acted well
the irony of "is that what I am hearing from you"
The doctor is so inncoent 😂
That's one angry patient
I think the doctor should give him a time frame for the tinnitus and not say i don't know
This patient must be in hollywood 😅
In India... The doctor would have got his neck twisted at 90 degrees by this time.
Looks scary though... The patient is soooooo intimidating 😂 😂
Oh my goodddd this is so scary. I am studying for my osces and this is giving me a heart attack
You'll be fine! Good luck with the OSCE's!
Excellent surrogate
I wouldn’t agree to take his role on behalf of the department 😂😂😂
I have my osce exam in less than a month and according to how I trained, he should have been more apologetic. Correct me if I'm wrong, please?
I love this 😂❤
I think that he should take more history:)
Ufff patients acting
he was so tough, i will have cold feet
Damn I am scared I hope he isn't one of the actors on my exam.
The most difficult OSCE ever
I have goosebumps
Now that's one very angry patient lol
What an actor ! I think its not acting.. who gave him overdose gentamycin !
Financial compensation 😂
The doctor reminds me a bit of Ed Miliband
😅this is good acting..

Dr is not proactive and engaged
Structure used by doctor needs work but brilliant acting
Great acting. Doctor is very bland, unaware and would infuriate me if I was his patient
Real angry patient!
I will definitely fail this
Dammmmmm
OHJH...TOO HARD TO SOLVE
acting101
This is so Karen Lmao
a Kevin* haha
i mean if i got hearing damage because someone gave me the wrong medications i would be pissed off too
ufffh... god forbid
Dr was a bit of a wet blanket lol
Sorry isn't enough.. Yes, they know who made the mistake ! Never protect the one who cause harm !

Hospitals and doctors are dangerous !
So are untreated kidney infections and sepsis
So are ungrateful citizens that bad mouth doctors and hospitals until they need them
People who make medical mistakes should be fired immediately and the patient should know who did this to them. Patient experienced side effects and doesn't now how long they will last or if ever stop.
If every doctor who ever made a mistake was fired on the spot, we wouldn't have any doctors left
Doctor sucked here
No he didnt
he was actually good, calm and he answered all the questions
No he was excellent, he let the patient Vent and let it all out.
Excellent doctor...I think it was harder to play the doctor's role than the patient's,
