Swear to god after watching so many “how to” and “how not to” vids finally ran across yours and this was exactly what I needed. To the point, the kits in particular are worth every penny. No fuss with pvc elbow T joint nonsense.

Great point! The kit came with one, the customer didn't want it added as it can be another point of leakage. You can also just drain from the spigot itself and tip it.

Great - but I would add a "low point" drain for easy winter draining.
