I think the flash at the end situation is ok, manageable to work around it. But the fact that the birds don't recharge is so so so big. Now finding info with her is gonna be a decent challenge. She'll feel more like a breach player than a sova or kayo kinda player

The purpose of a fake flash is to send out your bird, enemies usually respond by turning away ( so as to not get flashed ) and you can use this to peek and kill them while they're not looking. If the flash auto-pops, the bird might blind you, so forcing you to play differently. Also, the bird doesn't last long enough, so you're highly likely to get flashed yourself if you try this trick. Haven't seen it in game yet, so I cannot say for certain how it's going to work out, but this is what I'm expecting.

Riot had a multitude of other ways to nerf Skye flash without butchering its rechargable trait: - Increase CD duration on her blinds - Shorten the flash time - Shorten the duration of the flash’s flight time - etc. etc. The seeker changes are fine but with the dog nerf being already as comical as is with that one viral s0m clip but these changes feel like riot are just spinning a wheel and going with what it lands on first

To a certain extent I can understand the Skye nerfs. Her flash had more use than any other in the game due to its versatility and info gathering, and it being the only initiator signature ability with a purchasable charge meant that it could get an insane amount of value per round and it felt like that could happen even if the Skye wasnt too good at flashing, it still gets info and is mad spammable throughout the round. I feel like just a longer cooldown or a nerf to the flash duration wouldve been the better call though. Personally I dont think it makes her trash or anything, she just needs to think about when to use her flashes more, like kayo or breach, and use the dog as a primary info gatherer. Her flash is still unique and powerful enough IMO, she can pop it faster or later than any other flash in the game and know if it worked without peeking like other agents have to. I dont play her too much though but thats just my two cents.

When I play initiator I almost always play skye, and overall she is definitely the most broken flash initiator in the game but making her the ONLY 1of 6 initiators to have non rechargeable utility is a bit much. Valorant does this a lot where when it comes to nerfs on an agent they almost always kill it or at the very least more difficult to use. (chamber, jett etc)

I’m glad Skye is nerfed, her bird should be shootable tbh too. But the auto flash at the end is dumb and not even a nerf. It’s a reduction of dimension to the game. It also used to punish noobs who held the bird too long and ran out of time to pop the flash and get any info. This is a buff for bad players and a nerf to more skilled players. A very silly out of touch nerf tbh. Also iso getting more time to shoot the orb and have a longer focusing timer is catering to skill issues and is a bad buff, shrinking the shield is ok I guess and cheaper wall isn’t a big deal either. But the first buffs are really pathetic. Also breeze halls opening is gonna change the map flow entirely and in a good way imo. A hits can become extremely dangerous now. Cutting defenders from rotating to and from A is a serious aspect to play around and I missed it for over a year.
