This is probably going to be the most underrated film from Marvel Studios, sadly, just because of so many irrelevant & frankly just stupid criticisms & reviews from many people, even before they're watching the movie! How is that fair? A lot of criticisms & reviews for example just only highlighted the gay/LGBTQ scene, which to me is just full of 'woke culture' & SJW which are now sadly almost everywhere today. It's very toxic, and most importantly, it missed the WHOLE points of what makes this particular Marvel's movie so different, grand, epic, breathtaking, and my most favorite of all: it goes much more deeper & existential than any other typical 'Marvel (MCU)' movies formula. It's just really sad & unfortunate many people probably will miss this hidden gem masterpiece by Marvel Studios (MCU), just because they listen to (or read) other people's opinions even before watching the movie/film themselves and form their own opinions. - from Indonesia -

I mean this is sort of dumb that someone told them not to interfere, and these SUPER powerful beings listened, even though it meant that 1/2 of them and the people they "loved" were about to die.

I don't know anything of the Eternals prior to the talk of the movie. I haven't read the books, I don't know the lore. This trailer gave me goosebumps a little. A trailer has never given me goosebumps before. I really want to see this in the theater!

It looks well made. I just have no interest in these characters. I hope it does well tho, there are a lot of talented crew who worked on it. Weird I have a character hatred for them (Eternals) born from the impact of Infinity War. Thanos was a mad titan with the power to destroy the universe but I won’t help because boss said no. I hope there was an emotional exchange when they decided to remain compliant. Watching how hard everyone fought to knock down Thanos and then they show up. No warning or nothing. Not a knock against the movie because I’ll be there to see it but it will be interesting to see if they can sway me with their reasoning.
I mean they literally can't. If they disobey the celestial will simply erase them. The deviants were failures who disobeyed the celestials that's why the eternals where made so that they could literally not disobey the celestials
Yes, others helped but smart Hulk IS mored credited for bringing back all life, Thor couldn't do it because he was unstable and could've easily ruined the snap by his anger, rage, loss, regret etc. Besides him and Quill are easily to blame for letting their anger blind their opportunity to kill Thanos. Tony couldn't snap because if he died then Thanos would've later victored, because it was Not their fate in that reality to snap. In the one time they get the upper hand, Tony had to die doing it. This means if it had happened any other way and the others tried snapping, regardless of their powerset and abilities something would have happened. One of the heroes held at gunpoint, someone on reddit explained it better years ago that Danvers or anyone could've gotten overthrown or overrun, some of the heroes could've died or got injured because in those realities they made different decisions that costed their lives or someone else's. All it takes is one mistake in those realities.
"Fight CGI monsters" - So a MCU movie. Not saying it's a bad thing, just trying to think the last time there wasn't a big CGI battle at the end of a movie.
A small plot hole. The Eternals like the people very much so they protect it. And only when Deviants involved they protect them. Why not help them when they (People) are affected when other big problem arises, like Thanos????

I'm somewhat inclined to agree, but we don't know enough about the plot itself yet. The Celestials ordered them not to intervene in human affairs except where the Deviants are involved. But was it just an order, or was it a threat? Will the Celestials kill the Eternals for interfering? Or will they take it out on humanity? I know in the comics that they judged humanity pretty harshly, so if protecting mankind from the Celestials means leaving them to their own devices ninety nine percent of the time, then it's the best choice, shitty as it is.
This trailer albeit very good, doesn't even begin to encompass just how good this movie is! Absolutely one of my favorite marvel so far. It was moving, fun, surprising (which for a marvel ain't easy lmao) and the cast is diverse in every way possible and it's absolutely amazing to see! Absolutely loved it

You NEED to start uploading IMAX trailers to show how different those scenes feel with the expanded aspect ratio! This looked amazing in a theatre and convinced me at once to go see "Eternals" in IMAX 3D when it comes out. I wouldn't have otherwise and went to see it in a regular theatre had I not seen these IMAX scenes.
The problem is IMAX isn’t just the aspect ratio, it’s the resolution, colors/blacks, sound and experience. They want you to go to an IMAX theater to see the trailer in previews, with the dual laser projectors and loud ass speakers and all. Otherwise they would have to redo the sound and render the whole trailer for RUclips, in a compressed format. Yes there are some IMAX trailers on RUclips (such as endgame), but usually they won’t do it because it can’t deliver the same experience as a theater can. Idk they might though since MCU movies are big but I doubt they’d see a reason. I agree with you still, they should.

And it's not like they show those in trailers when you go to IMAX. For me, "Eternals" was probably the first case. Like, "Dune", "Spider-man: No Way Home", and "Matrix: Ressurections" all were in 2.39:1, so it didn't help watching those trailers in IMAX, I still had to find out separately whether they will feature IMAX shots. Why not give a taste of it earlier? So I'm glad they've started doing it now and hope it will become a norm.

Honestly, the idea that you could return people 5 years later is really fake. The earth is moving around the sun (you know, it goes around once per year), so New York, for example, is not in the same place as it was even 2 weeks ago. You would have to do it at the right moment where the earth is in the same exact spot... However, since the earth is revolving around the sun and the sun is revolving around the galaxy, the people would all appear in space with the earth far away.

What I mean is I will not go to IMAX to just see the trailers in that format (because I don't even know which trailers will be shown, it's a gamble), but would like to see proof there will be scenes with an expanded image.
And it's not like they show those in trailers when you go to IMAX. For me, "Eternals" was probably the first case. Like, "Dune", "Spider-man: No Way Home", and "Matrix: Ressurections" all were in 2.39:1, so it didn't help watching those trailers in IMAX, I still had to find out separately whether they will feature IMAX shots. Why not give a taste of it earlier? So I'm glad they've started doing it now and hope it will become a norm.

I mean, of course I know it's not the same. But even on my home screen I can see how differently scenes feel in those available IMAX trailers due to the expanded aspect ratio, thus convincing me it's worth a trip to a nearby IMAX.

The IMAX trailer of Eternals is perfect in the theatre, the changing of the aspect ratio are all at the right time.
The music in this trailer is absolutely EPIC.
